Realised I never really do this but hi 👋🏻
My name is Charlotte, the one behind Mini Mantra Childrens Yoga ✨
✨What is Mini Mantra all about??✨
I love helping children feel confident more than anything else. I love helping them believe they can, and say ‘I CAN’
It’s so easy to doubt ourselves, I’ve been there many times but i have learnt that taking a deep breath and pushing through shows me I can do hard things and that’s exactly what my aim is with the children I teach.
It’s not about doing perfect yoga, it’s about how we can use elements of yoga as tools in everyday life. Breathing through stressful situations, balancing poses to show ourselves we have resilience, yoga flows for endurance and strength when things feel tough, and moments of relaxation to notice how it feels to slow down.
✨Where do I teach?✨
In local Primary Schools teaching yoga to children as part of PE lessons, after school clubs, weekly childrens class Chakra in Penwortham, and I also run half term children’s yoga retreats, full days of yoga, crafts, games and mindfulness in Lostock Hall.
I team up with The Yogi Group to teach in nursery’s, primary and occasionally secondary schools.
I have done some fun bits of filming also alongside KIDS NOW on YouTube. Aimed at children aged 4-8 years of age. Head over to kidsmusicshop1 on YouTube for short interactive yoga videos in the jungle, the mountains and even the beach 🏖️
And then my most recent venture MiniYogiTails teaming up with my friend from The Yogi Group running puppy yoga and pilates classes across various locations in Lancashire and The Fylde Coast. This has been such a special and heart warming journey so far for us, working closely with reliable and responsible breeders to run very carefully planned classes where the puppies are free to roam, explore, cuddle, play or sleep gently exposing them to new surroundings, new people, and very gentle hands just before they go on to their forever homes. An all round positive socialisation experience for them. (From Age 12+)
