We are ready for the new season to begin, all the behind the scene admin is close to being complete, coaches and teams have been hard at work pre-season and our two pitches are looking unbelievable!

We couldn’t do it without any of your support! From parents to aunties, uncles to nieces, nephews to brothers, sisters to grandparents and all the other friends and family that keep showing up and putting their trust in us - we are soo grateful!

We’re getting closer to our 1000 followers goal - but not quite there yet!

Another load of minutes in the tank for the tricky Tornados!

Plenty of positives from a tough match - they keep scoring goals, they keep tackling well and they keep having fun!

Still players coming in to play in their first match and lots still away enjoying their holidays but that didnt stop them giving their all as they look towards their first ever season of football!

Player of the week was Eli whi was brilliant, held his position well and worked hard throughout! Great work Eli!

A fanatastic performance for our u12 Lightning team this afternoon!

Another great, battling game against our old foes Shawclough! Lightning were worried coming into the first hydration break a couple of goals down and Shawclough added another just after aswell! Lightning dug in and fought back to a great win that should give them loads of confidence ahead of the new season!

A bare 9 for Lightning meant each player really had to put a shift in and work as hard as they could!

We couldnt be prouder!

Super Sandstorm were back playing footie tonight for some 3v3, 2v2 and 1v1 fun down at St Marys!

The lads loved it once again and there was some excellent moments as they all shown improvement once again!

Have you just left school this year and want to play football!? Or maybe you know somebody else that does!?

We are looking for 16 year olds that want to play for our u17s! We need a goalkeeper and a few outfield players also. Sunday morning matches in the EMJFL with homes games played at Springfield Park. Training Tuesday evenings at Matthew Moss (from mid September - Springfield Park until then).

Great group of players looking to bolster their squad ahead of the season in a few weeks!
