PABLO URIBE APPOINTED SPORTING DIRECTOR 🌎
AFC Rugby are delighted to officially announce Pablo Uribe as the club’s Sporting Director.
Having joined us behind the scenes earlier this year, Pablo will play a major role in driving forward the plans that will shape the next phase of AFC Rugby.
At the heart of his role will be our ambition to enter Saturday football from the 2027/28 season, developing the competitive side of the club and helping build the structures required to compete and grow at the next level.
He will also help drive the development of a clear youth pathway into senior football, strengthening recruitment, football operations and player development across the club.
Beyond the pitch, Pablo will contribute to the wider work required to build a sustainable football club, including our plans to secure a long term home and create an environment capable of supporting AFC Rugby’s ambitions for the years ahead.
Pablo brings experience from across professional football, including roles with Manchester City, Nottingham Forest and NEOM SC.
His experience across sporting operations, recruitment, player support, commercial development and football strategy adds another important layer to the structure we are building.
Pablo is thrilled to be on board and ready to get to work.
The next phase is taking shape.
