Another pre season victory today as we came out on top against FC Courthouse, formerly Bar 8, in what is usually a closely contested fixture between the two sides.

Goals from Trialist A and Corey Cousins were enough to secure the win and make it another positive afternoon for the lads.

Apologies for the limited coverage from today’s fixture. We’ll be back properly next weekend as we face The Bank FC, formerly Webb Ellis, for the first time.

Plenty of action from another competitive morning, ending with a 3–2 win over Red Lion Hillmorton.

FULL TIME: AFC Rugby 3–2 Red Lion Hillmorton. ✅

A tight and evenly matched game this morning, with Red Lion taking a 2–0 lead inside the opening 30 minutes. Dan King got us right back into it, scoring twice inside a minute to send us into the break level.

The second half remained evenly contested, with both sides searching for the winner. Despite a number of injuries disrupting the game, we eventually found the decisive goal through Trialist A, who fired into the top corner from the edge of the box to secure the win.
