AFC Rugby are delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Cook as our new First Team Manager.

Ben joins the club following his departure from Rugby Rovers, where he won both the Division 2 league title and Division 2 Cup last season.

He will officially begin his role in August, but will be around the squad during pre season as preparations continue for the new campaign.

This is an exciting appointment for the club as we look to raise standards, build properly and push on again this season.

OurJay Festival 2026 💙

We had a fantastic day on Saturday enjoying the sunshine at our stand at OurJay Festival, our first ever event as a club.

It was great chatting to so many people about our vision for the future, from our plans to secure a permanent home ground to our long term 2030 vision of creating a club that makes a real difference in the local community. There really isn’t a better place to share that vision than at an event like this.

Seeing the community that the OurJay team has built was incredible, and we feel honoured to have played a small part in such a special day.

The football darts game was a success, and thanks to your support we sold plenty of the OurJay x AFC Rugby charity shirts, raising over £200 for OurJay.

A huge thank you to everyone who came over to say hello, bought a shirt, had a go on the football darts, or simply stopped for a chat. We can’t wait to be back next year, speak to even more people, and continue supporting the amazing work that OurJay does.

🔵 YOUTH FOOTBALL TRIALS IN RUGBY 🔵

AFC Rugby are recruiting U16 and U18 players for the new season.

Our trials take place in just 10 days, and registrations are closing soon.

We are looking for committed players who want regular football, strong support, weekly training, and a pathway into adult football at a growing club.

The wait is over. We are back in July to kick off our 2026/27 campaign with a strong set of pre season fixtures.

We will be stepping out in our new kit on 12 July, with matches every Sunday until the end of August. ⚽️
