It would be great to see you (and your shirts!) at another of our games in the near future!

In front of an impressive 660 fans, the game was a well-contested, tight affair with neither side creating a glut of clear-cut chances.

The visitors started the game well though and they did get a very good chance in the opening exchanges with Ryan Harkin heading wide, unmarked, from six yards after a couple of defensive slips by Rugby players in the build up.

There were half chances for both sides before the deadlock was broken just after the half hour mark - Sam Tye's ball inside the fullback put Sutherland clean through on the angle and the in-form winger took a touch before slotting ball between the legs of the onrushing Nathan Beckett and into the net.

With 15 minutes remaining Rugby then had the opportunity to extend their lead from the penalty spot.

Hisham Chiha did great work to win possession high up the pitch before a clever ball into Rivel Mardenborough resulted in Aaron Nuttall being tripped just inside the box.

Sutherland stepped up to send Beckett the wrong way for his seventh goal of the season.

The Adders made it a nervy final few minutes when Chris Cowley curled in a brilliant free-kick which Ash Bodycote could only get a hand to but Rugby held on despite some late pressure to make it seven successive wins in all competitions.

A great advert for non-league.
