We have been busy planning our 2026 events and we are delighted to announce we will be bringing you 4 events this year. (maybe a 5th, but that is not confirmed yet). Alongside our traditional St Albans Sixers, we are bringing back the Ultra in May, plus a new event in Harpenden in April.

Tickets for all 4 events go on sale Friday 16th Jan at 9am.

Pre-warning. Harpenden is limited numbers, so you might want to be quick with that one if you want to try something different. And if you haven't done it before, the St Albans Sixer is very popular and a lot of fun!!!

As always, tickets price includes a £5 donation to a local charity and everyone gets a Sixer cup to take home with them.

Two days to go ‘til Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2023 2023and it now feels very real. Nowhere to hide, but somewhere to run!

Thanks to you guys and I have hit the £5,000 target we set ourselves back in June.

But that doesn’t mean we’re have to stop there.

Please, have a look at our fundraising page for Brain Tumour Research, see why we’ve done all this training, why we are putting ourselves through this, and why this great charity needs all the help we can give it.

Then please, if you feel you can spare even a few pounds, help us raise the bar even further.

Thanks a million from both of us
T&D xx

Big's Backyard Ultra 21/10/2025

Hey, Sixers…

Did you know that the Back Yard Ultra World Championships is currently taking place in Belt Buckle, Tennessee?

75 runners from 40 countries started on Saturday morning, a 4.167 mile loop (or ‘yard’) on the hour, every hour, until only one remains.

There are still 22 competitors on the course, they’ve just started their 76th yard (300+ miles so far)

And one of those is Sarah Perry from
Cockermouth who has smashed the British record and is still looking strong.

Check out the stats and live stream it here… (They start arriving back in camp round about quarter to each hour)

Just phenomenal…
