Good morning, Sixers!
Beautiful morning so far, but it’s not promising to stay this way, rain ☔️ so please remember a change of clothes or something warmer for after the run if you’re planning on staying for our B**r Fest afterwards.

We’ve got food trucks prepping for the afternoon with delicious pizzas and mouth watering bbq for you.

Plus 24 ales, 10 ciders and more from our garden bar.

We are raising money today for our chosen charity Youth Talk who will be here and running a raffle with some great prizes, so please come feeling generous and buy some tickets.

Arrows are up, umbrellas are down (for now!) and there are more of you today than ever before so please arrive early to register and get your mug, wristband and drink.

Don’t leave it to the last minute!…

Coming to join us for the Sixer on Sunday. This is what you need to know

1.⁠ ⁠Welcome to the Sixer. Please make yourself at home and have a good day.

2.⁠ ⁠Please register at the desks in the garden (we need the names of all members of your teams) and collect your cup and wrist band. Wrist bands need to be worn throughout the event, to access the pubs etc. Also, we are going to be busy, so please arrive early for registration.

3.⁠ ⁠Pick up a map, we don’t want you getting lost. It also has some important numbers on it.

4.⁠ ⁠If you need to store a bag, please use the front “small” bar.

5.⁠ ⁠We will have a briefing for all runners / walkers at 10.45am in the garden.

6.⁠ ⁠It is a drinking start at 11am, so make sure your glass is filled ready to go, BEFORE the briefing and it must still be FULL when the starting gun fires.

7.⁠ ⁠Glaze Bakery are available all morning for coffee & pastries. We will have Smokey Jim’s BBQ Food Truck and Boomting Pizza joining us from 12 noon.

8.⁠ ⁠Youth Talk will be around on Sunday, selling tickets for
their amazing raffle. Grab a ticket if you can!

9. Stay as long as you like afterwards for the b**r festival

And then there was one. David Craddock sets off alone at 10:00am on Sunday, 24 hours after the race started, on his victory lap. What a day this has been!

At the end of this, they will both have run 100 miles in 24 hrs.
That’s David Craddock on the left and Harry Metcalfe on the right, just before they set off on 24.

Jordon tapped out after a very respectable 20 laps, leaving just two runners still out on the course.
