As a partner in our new venture with Standing Tall Foundation that has acquired the former Broadway Leisure Centre (now Standing Tall Community & Sports Hub) in St Helens, we are trying to make a big impact. We're raising money for two defibrillators, one for the Hub and one for the minibus that carries young people and adults across St Helens and beyond. Support will help protect local residents, community groups, and everyone using the Hub. Academy standout steps up ⬆️ 6’5 wing Nathan Diboe Weaver makes the jump from last seasons u18s premier squad to senior men. Nathan who will feature in both senior teams this season will bring another athletic 3 & D player to the squad as we continue his development alongside Carmel Basketball, a well deserved call up we are excited to give opportunity to another young local player at the Division 1 level! 🔴⚪️

Kadir’s back ☄️ returns to the Division 1 squad for the 26/27 season. Kadir returns home from the USA where he spent last season at top ranked JUCO Ellsworth CC on scholarship, after being sidelined by injury we look forward to returning Kadir back to full health. A former junior and academy standout with Carmel Basketball Kadir is no stranger to this level having debuted for the senior team aged 16 back in 22/23 season, we are excited to welcome back Kadir who will be a dynamic young scoring threat and add depth to our group 🔴⚪️

Right, Saints community training is back! See flyers. First off at our Ormskirk site at Edge Hill University with an open day this Saturday, followed by training the next week. Our new community sessions will take place at Broadway, for girls and boys, but commencing in November once the site is set-up. Girls night ⛹🏻‍♀️ with so much going on in the background we are excited to getting back to our Community Basketball sessions 🏀 Firstly, we are thrilled to now have a permanent place to start our girl’s program at our St Helens site, which will be led by coach Mike Lea! There are a few weeks to go whilst we get everything set-up and ready to go but we hope to see everyone involved and excited to make it a success 🔴⚪️

Led by coach Mike, we are delighted to announce a brand new focus for the club with our girl's pathway in a dedicated girl's only community training night. We are excited to start from the ground up, enabled by our new basketball centre. There are a few weeks to go to get things set-up but please spread the word - we want this to be big!
