Clock Face Miners ARLFC

Clock Face Miners Under 7s hosted a fantastic round robin festival this weekend, welcoming Halton Hornets and Blackbrook Navy to Clock Face for a morning of exciting rugby.

All three teams displayed tremendous enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the festival, with the young Miners putting in some excellent performances against strong opposition.

The Clock Face players showed great determination in defence, plenty of energy in attack and growing confidence with the ball in hand. Every player contributed, demonstrating the hard work they have been putting in at training.

A huge thank you goes to Halton Hornets and Blackbrook Navy for travelling over and helping create a brilliant atmosphere. It was another enjoyable morning of rugby, full of smiles, learning opportunities and memorable moments for all involved.

Well done to every player who took part and thank you to all the parents, coaches and volunteers for their continued support. Up the Miners! 🏉💙💛

This week we faced some old rivals, Finch and Caddishead, and it was great to catch up with familiar faces while seeing how much all the players have developed.

Clock Face Miners Under 7s enjoyed a fantastic morning of rugby league as they travelled to take part in a round-robin festival hosted by Halton Farnworth Hornets. The young Miners faced three tough opponents in Halton Hornets Ashton Bears and Newton Storm, showcasing their growing confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the event.

The young Miners displayed great determination and energy. The team worked tirelessly in both attack and defence, with strong running and some impressive tagging. Every player contributed, demonstrating the skills they have been developing in training.

The Miners showed real resilience, never giving up and continuing to work hard for one another.

Most importantly, the day was played in fantastic spirit, with all four clubs showing great sportsmanship and respect. Festivals like these provide valuable experience for young players, helping them build confidence while enjoying the game with their teammates and new friends.

A big thank you goes to Halton Farnworth Hornets for hosting a well-organised and enjoyable event, and to Ashton Bears and Newton Storm for excellent games. The Clock Face Miners Under 7s can be proud of their efforts and will look forward to taking plenty of positives into their next round of fixtures.
