Early pressure was soaked up by a well‑organised Jubilee Sports side, who had the home defence scrambling to clear the ball from their penalty area after ten minutes. The visitors were flagged offside and Parkgate could breathe a sigh of relief.

Jubilee Sports were playing a confident passing game and looked dangerous whenever they went forward in the early stages. On fourteen minutes, a free‑kick from Jack Shaw was sent towards goal but safely gathered by the home keeper. Jineal Kamara‑Evans then saw his curled effort from the edge of the area drift just over the bar. Both teams were pushing to make an impact, and a goal was needed.

With 35 minutes gone, Jubilee Sports surged forward and Danny Barnsley scored on the break with a low shot from the edge of the penalty area. The hosts equalised on 42 minutes, leaving the scores level at the break.

The second half began with the hosts pushed back, and a run into the penalty area on 51 minutes saw Danny Barnsley grab his second goal of the game. Barely five minutes later it was 3–1 when Jake Widdowson slotted the ball home. An unforced error in the penalty area on 61 minutes allowed Jake Thompson to find the net and make it 4–1. The deficit was reduced on 63 minutes when Parkgate scored their second.

Not to be outdone, Jubilee added a fifth when a corner from Jack Shaw was turned home by Danny Barnsley for his third of the game.

A well‑deserved victory and a great start to the season.
