Brilliant moment for the AG Lions tonight at Hillsborough Park! ⚽️🦁

We had a special guest drop into our training session as Sheffield Wednesday player Liam Palmer joined in with the lads and spent some time getting involved. 💙🤍

For young players, these are the moments they remember getting the opportunity to train alongside someone who has represented Sheffield Wednesday for so many years and seeing a professional footballer taking the time to support grassroots football.

A massive thank you to Liam for getting involved, making time for the boys and giving them an experience they’ll be talking about for a long time! 👏⚽️

⚽️💚 AG SPORTS COACHING – THE NEXT CHAPTER

We’re excited to confirm that AG Sports Coaching is planning to rejoin the Junior Premier League (JPL) for the 2027/28 season.

Over the coming months, we’ll be putting together a brand-new player development pathway, designed to give ambitious young players a clear route to develop, progress and challenge themselves at a higher level.

Our aim is to build something sustainable that combines quality coaching, opportunity, education and player development — while keeping the values that AG Sports Coaching has always stood for.

More information on age groups, trials and the new pathway will be released in due course.
