Sheffield Sabrecats Stunt

07/10/2026

We’ve had so many inquiries from people who have missed tryouts this year but want to join the club. If you’re in this position, our amethyst membership has just become available to purchase!
The team is available to join throughout the year and gives more people the opportunity to get involved with the club, go on socials and work on (or learn) cheer skills!!

We’re really excited by how strong in numbers (and talent) amethyst is looking and are eager to hopefully show this off at our anual showcase!!

The link to buy the membership is in the linktree in our bio any problems or questions please message us on Instagram!!

I hope everyone is excited for our first GIAG session tonight!!! ⭐️⭐️

Following some of the questions you’ve been asking about GIAGs and tryouts we thought it best to make a post to alleviate any worries you might have for them, we know it might be daunting especially if you’ve never done cheer before but there will be plenty of coaches and committee at every sessions to support you. These sessions are a fun way to try the sport and meet new members of the club so you’re welcome to go to multiple if it would make you feel more confident going into tryouts.

As it says in the post, tryouts are far more relaxed than you might think. It is just a chance to show off what you can do/ what you’ve learnt at the GIAGs, this means you won’t be asked to do anything you’re not confident with. Most importantly, there is a team for every level so no matter what you can still come to ROAR with the Sabrecats 😛

We hope to see you soon!!

With fresher’s week rapidly approaching I’m sure everyone is very busy and as you can see from the calendar The Sabrecats are no exception! But some of our committee have taken time out of their busy schedules to meet anyone interested in the club 💛

We have stalls on move in day in endcliffe and at sports fair, both of which are perfect opportunities to speak to some club members, see what we do and ask any questions you might have.

Finally we have freshers drinks with our lovely social secs on Friday the 25th, Polly and Steph will be at the edge bar from 3pm to meet everyone but just because it’s at endcliffe doesn’t mean only uni freshers can go anyone new to the club is welcome - it doesn’t hurt to meet some friendly faces before tryouts!

If you don’t manage to see us at any of these events don’t worry you’ll still get the chance to speak to us at GIAG sessions or feel free to message us on Instagram⭐️
