📅 04/10/2026 | 🏟️ League Game

Another Sunday, another fantastic effort from our New Bohemians U9s! 💙⚽️👏

Travelling away to face Darnall Diamonds, a new team in the league, we went into the game open-minded 🤔⚽️, not quite knowing what to expect.

One thing was certain, though the boys would need to be ready for a tough test, and Darnall certainly delivered! 💪🥊⚽️

The boys got off to a flying start 🚀, with Hawley finding the net twice ⚽️⚽️, both goals assisted by Roman’s well placed crosses 🎯. Faris then got in on the action ⚽️, finishing off a great assist from Danyal 👌.

Darnall showed plenty of determination and kept pushing 💪, but our boys continued to create chances and play some great football. David got himself on the scoresheet ⚽️ before Hawley completed his hat-trick 🎩⚽️, taking us into half-time in a strong position.

The second half brought another challenge, with Darnall introducing their Power Play, giving them an extra player. 🔄➕1️⃣

This tested the boys in different ways, but they continued to work hard, support each other and battle for every ball. 💪⚽️🤝

Roman added another goal ⚽️ before Faris grabbed his second of the game, thanks to a great assist from Hawley’s corner 🎯. Darnall continued to fight back, but Danyal rounded off the scoring with another goal for the Bohemians being alert to the rebound from David’s shot! ⚽️🔥

🎖️ CAPTAIN HAWLEY 🎖️

A special mention for Hawley, who wore the captain’s armband today! 🫡💚⚽️

He led by example throughout the game and rounded off his performance as captain in style, completing a well-taken hat-trick 🎩⚽️⚽️⚽️.

A fantastic individual performance from our skipper for the day! 👏🔥

🧤 ZAC THE WALL! 🧤

Another special mention must go to Zac, who once again produced an incredible 6 critical saves throughout the game! 🧤💥

Some fantastic goalkeeping when the team needed it most. 🥅👏

🌟 MAN OF THE MATCH AWARDS 🌟

🏆⚽️ COACHES’ MAN OF THE MATCH – FARIS ⚽️🏆

Faris picked up the coaches’ award today after a tireless performance from start to finish. 💪🔥 He never stopped working for the team and was rewarded with two well-finished goals ⚽️⚽️. A brilliant all-round effort and thoroughly deserved recognition! 👏

🏆⚽️ PARENTS’ MAN OF THE MATCH – ROMAN ⚽️🏆

Roman was full of energy on the wings today ⚡️🏃‍♂️, causing problems going forward while also working incredibly hard to help the team defend. 💪🛡️

He grabbed a goal and a couple of assists 🎯⚽️ and was constantly involved in both attack and defence. A fantastic team performance from Roman and a well-deserved Parents’ Man of the Match! 👏🔥

The foundations are being laid 🧱, the confidence is growing 📈 and the boys are continuing to develop with every game. 👏⚽️

Credit to Darnall Diamonds, who gave us a really good, tough game. 🤝⚽️ Going into the fixture without knowing exactly what to expect, it was great to see the boys adapt, work together and rise to the challenge. 💪🧠⚽️

We wish Darnall Diamonds all the best for the rest of their season! 🤝👏

For our boys, the focus remains the same:

⚽️ Keep working hard
💪 Keep improving
🤝 Keep working together
😃 Keep enjoying their football

⚽️❄️ NEW BOHEMIANS JRS U9 – WINTER TRAINING ❄️⚽️

Fantastic start to our winter training session tonight for the lads, with all 8 players giving 100% for the full hour! 💪🔥

The session had a big focus on defensive drills, with the boys working hard on their positioning, tackling and staying organised as a team. 🛡️⚽️ Alongside that, we worked on ball mastery, communication, passing and shooting, with plenty of intensity and energy shown from start to finish. 👏🔥

The hard work and preparation continues ahead of Sunday’s game against Darnall Diamonds U9. Being a new team, we certainly won’t be taking them for granted, and the lads know they’ll need to be ready to work hard, communicate and play for each other from the first whistle. 💙⚽️

🏆 TRAINER OF THE WEEK – HAWLEY! 🏆

A massive well done to Hawley tonight for his top effort, excellent listening and the amount of running he put in throughout the session! 👏🔥🏃‍♂️

💚⚽️ WHAT A SHIFT FROM THE LADS! ⚽️💚

The boys came flying out of the blocks today and took a deserved lead inside the opening stages with Hawley assisting Danyal on both occasions! 🔥

The lads were creating chance after chance and could easily have added another 2 or 3 before half-time! 💥 A couple were narrowly blazed over the bar, while the Maltby keeper pulled off some fantastic saves to keep the score down. 🧤👏

The message at the break was simple keep focusing, keep working hard, keep helping each other and keep believing in what you’re doing! 💪💚

The second half was a real battle, and the boys had to dig deep. Maltby pulled one back through an own goal, making for a nervy finish! 😬⚽️

But the lads stuck together, battled for every ball and defended as a team to see the game through! 💪🔥

🧤 Zac was absolutely outstanding between the sticks today, making a brilliant 8 saves! 🧱💥

🏅 Coaches’ Man of the Match: Zac 🧤⭐ for his immense effort in goal to help keep the opposition out and his voice at the back along with distribution to get us going on the counter attacks.

🏅 Parents’ Man of the Match: Danyal ⚽️🔥 worked tirelessly today when called upon in attack he bagged a couple well taken goals and when called upon in defence he put a solid shift in tidying up at the back. All round performance today.

A massive well done to every single player today. 👏💙

The scoreline might be a low scoring affair, but the real story was the effort, teamwork, determination and togetherness shown by the whole squad. Every player played their part, kept encouraging each other and worked tirelessly right until the final whistle. 🙌⚽️

Keep working hard, keep supporting each other and keep enjoying your football, lads! 💚

⚽️ U9 Training & Trainer of the Week

Great effort from all 8 lads tonight in our final training session on grass before we make the move to the Astroturf for winter training! 💪⚽️

The session focused on fitness, ball control, ball mastery and shooting, with plenty of hard work, energy and great attitude from the boys. 🔥👏

With a tough fixture ahead on Sunday, the boys prepared well, listened to feedback from both coaches and finished the session understanding their key tasks for the game. 🎯⚽️

🏆 Trainer of the Week – Roman 🏆
Fantastic listening, extra effort in every drill and brilliant hard work and dedication throughout the session. 👏🔥

Well done Roman! Your reward… you’ve earned the captaincy for Sunday’s game! 🫡⚽️

Now let’s take that effort into Sunday! 💪🔵⚽️

What a brilliant game for our U10s today. The boys started really well and caused Brinsworth plenty of problems, with Daryan continuing his little goal streak. After a real battle, Charlie produced some great footwork before stabbing home.

As always the lads showed exactly what we ask for; bodies on the line, battling for every ball and defending together. It felt like every opposition attack lasted 10 minutes, but the boys kept their heads and kept going!

A huge well done to Luca, our Managers’ Player of the Match, for his fantastic energy, passing and ability to keep our attacks moving, and Ruben, our Parents’ Player of the Match, who battled for everything and continues to grow in confidence every week.

Parents, family and friends should be incredibly proud. Effort, togetherness, determination and fight. It’s exactly what we are about. Well done boys.

Killamarsh Dynamo’s FC U9 Navy vs New Bohemians Jrns U9

📅 20 September 2026

What a performance! 🔥👏

Having faced Killamarsh on three previous occasions without a victory, the fourth time of asking saw New Bohemians put in an outstanding performance from start to finish and finally get the result their hard work deserved. 💙⚽️

⚽️ First Half

New Bohemians started brightly and took the lead when Hawley found the net, with Roman providing the assist with a clinical cross. 🙌

Killamarsh responded with a goal of their own, but Bohemians quickly regained control. Danyal restored the lead with a rocket in top bins, again assisted by Roman with another clinical cross, before Roman got himself on the scoresheet with a power strike outside of the box with Danyal turning provider.

A strong opening 20 minutes, but there was plenty more to come!

⚽️ Second half

New Bohemians came flying out of the blocks after the break.

Dylan added another, assisted by Faris, before Yusuf got on the scoresheet with Hawley supplying the assist.

Killamarsh then introduced their Power Play with an additional player, but New Bohemians continued to find solutions and remained clinical in front of goal.

Yusuf grabbed his second of the afternoon, this time with David providing the assist. 🎯

Then came a brilliant spell for David, who first scored with Hawley assisting with a pinpoint pass before adding another himself 🔥

Danyal then completed his brace, with David turning provider, before the final whistle confirmed a memorable performance for New Bohemians. 💚🙌

Despite Killamarsh using the Power Play twice, New Bohemians continued to show fantastic determination, teamwork and attacking quality.

🧤 Wall at the Back

A special mention has to go to Zac in goal on his birthday too. 🧤👏

Zac made an impressive 10 saves and was outstanding in one-on-one situations, winning 100% of his 1v1 duels.

Those numbers tell their own story — whenever Killamarsh threatened, Zac was there to keep them out. 💪

A brilliant example of teamwork, attacking intent, defensive determination and belief from the whole group.

Coaches Man of the Match-

David, worked hard in his position up and down the pitch helping both defence and attack out got in on the act with a couple well taken goals and also assisted. Was pulling out some great precision passes today finding his team mates on every occasion.

Parents Player of the Match -

Dylan, He worked incredibly hard today and gave it his all from start to finish. He scored two great goals and showed some quality passing, creating some lovely opportunities for the team. Brilliant effort and a well-deserved performance from him today! ⚽️👏

What a performance, New Bohemians! 👏🔥💚🦘

🌧️⚽ U9 Training Round-Up! ⚽🌧️

It was a wet and rainy start to training tonight, but the boys didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits! 💪 They worked incredibly hard throughout the session, and just as the rain began to clear, a big rainbow 🌈 appeared and caught everyone’s attention for a few minutes! Once the excitement settled, the boys refocused and got stuck into a few new drills, working on some areas we identified from last weekend’s game. Plenty of effort, teamwork and determination on show from everyone! 👏⚽

We finished the session with an exciting end-to-end match, with plenty of energy, attacking football and great moments from both teams!

🔥⚽ Trainer of the Week goes to our GK Zac! 🧤🏆 Zac showed immense effort during the outfield drills, made some fantastic reaction saves during his GK work, and was outstanding in goal during the match. Brilliant work, Zac! 👏🌟

Another great session from the boys! 💚⚽🦘
