A good evening for the Midweek XI in their 6-wicket win over Frankwell last night at The Morro Homes Avenue.

It was a solid all-round team performance, with everyone playing their part to help secure the victory. After a good effort in the field, the lads chased the target down comfortably to get the win.

A good platform to take into the weekend, with 3 big games of cricket to be played 🏏

This weekends Players of the match... 📢

1️⃣ - Rutang Patel, an all-round performance from Rutang earned him Player of the Match honours! Rutang top scored with an outstanding 32 runs and then starred with the ball, taking 3 wickets for just 9 runs. 🔥🏏
2️⃣ - Manju Wanasinghe - Back-to-back Player of the Match performances, Manju made it two weeks in a row with another superb innings, scoring 56 to follow up last week’s fifty.
3️⃣ Atif Alaim - What a way to announce yourself! On debut for the club with a sensational unbeaten 103 off just 74 balls — a fantastic innings and a debut to remember!

Some fantastic performances across the weekend, in a good weekend on the whole for Wroxeter & Uppington.

The weekend round up... 📢

1️⃣ - Our First XI suffered their first defeat of the season, narrowly beaten by Chirk at The Morro Homes Avenue. A good game, that could have gone either way through the majority of the game. But unfortunately, it wasn't to be.
2️⃣- Our Seconds got themselves back to winning ways, with a very good away performance against Pontesbury. Beating them by 42 runs bringing the points back with them 💪🏻
3️⃣ - Our Thirds continued in their fantastic run of form. Beating Sentinel at The Morro Homes Avenue by a magnificent 208 runs! Keeping them running on their 100% record for the season 💪🏻

A huge thank you to all players, volunteers, officials and spectators. This weekend has seen a lot of you attend the fixtures at home, which we are extremely greatful for.

Onto Tuesday, where we welcome Frankwell for a T20 Fixture 🏏
