What a fabulous Ballet Day we had at the Classical Ballet Championships 🩰💜

All students who achieve 83 marks and above in their IDTA International Dance Teachers Association Ballet Exam are invited to take part and compete against other IDTA dance schools in the Midlands. A wonderful chance to dance with their peers and take part in a class with a guest teacher.

It is so important for any child to feel like they belong to a community so our Friends of Footlights Fundraising group gifts a FREE Footlights t-shirt to every child that signs up after their trial 💜

Michelle is swapping her dance shoes for cyclng shorts and cycling 50 miles for charity!

Mr & Mr Footlights will be cycling Palace to Palace raising money for the fabulous Kings Trust Charity that helps support young children in the UK.

Let's show them some Footlights love and dig deep to donate what you can to raise funds for an excellent cause. 💜💜💜

We are loving being back dancing but we’d thought we look at our Footlights Teaching team having a smashing time during their Summer holidays. Resting their good toes, soaking up the sun and recharging ready for more dancing🩰

What have you been up to in the holidays? Share photos in the comments below 😎💜🩰

💜 Footlights Dance School 💜

This photo is from a recent night out in Shrewsbury. This group of people became friends over many years because their daughters danced with Footlights. 10+ years of car sharing, uniform swapping, costume sewing, driving to performances, helping backstage, chatting outside dance classes and forming a massive friendship bond - that is continuing even though their children are no longer Footlighters 🥹 Notice the dance dads in the photo too that all socialise together too!

Footlights Dance School is so much more than a dance school - it is a family that offers friendship and support and many, many memories and laughs.

If you are thinking of starting your child at dance classes - know that you will gain a whole new loads of friends too when you join the Purple People 💜
