On 19th September 4 members of SARC travelled to Scotland to take part in Monster the Loch 2026. A flotila of allsorts of rowing boats on Loch Ness.
Weather took a turn for the worse and the course was shortened but it didn't damper their spirits and enthusiasm.
Here is their account of the day 👇
0/10 Weather
10/10 for character building in a single hour experiencing freezing conditions, very high waves blinding sunshine and a fresh rainbow every 5 minutes.
Nessie didn't need to show as the weather was monster enough! Congratulations and well done to Eli, Naomi, Hollie & Laura who have raised money for the club. If anyone would like to donate towards their monstrous achievement and support SARC the link will be added next.

5 of our SARC ladies have been on an adventure! They have been to Venice to row The Vogalonga. They had a fab time in the sunshine and madness of hundreds of boats, all shapes and sizes, joining in the fun too!
They have done it to raise funds to referb the clubs gym. Well done Inke/Eli/Naomi/Claire and Sarah
