Shine Studios is a dance school in the heart of the New Forest community and most importantly the home of our Shine Tribe! In addition, we are the proud winners of the Gold Award in the Dance School of the Year Awards! Family run for over 18 years, we ooze that family feel into our Shine Tribe made up of our dancers and their wider families. We nurture each dancer to be the best that they can be, be it dancing for confidence or aspiring for a career in the performing arts, each are equally as important. By treating each dancer as an individual our Shine Tribe thrive in a happy and excitingly modern environment within our beautiful purpose built studio with our highly experienced and supportive teachers. We don’t miss a single one of our dancers out…ever! Celebrating individual achievements on each child’s dance journey is at the heart of our school. All of our dancers take part in our annual show and have the opportunity to take part in workshops with guest teachers, in house competitions, as well as lots of activities we do online via our social media platforms to keep in contact. We look forward to welcoming you to our Shine Tribe!

💙Did you know as part of our Shine Studios Foundation Fund we have a recycle uniform and shoe stash! Please do check in to see if we have anything at the studio before you buy new items, and if you have anything to donate please pass to your class teacher.

Kids grow so quickly so we are happy to do what we can to support families and parents.

Let’s introduce our staff! Miss Katie Co-own the school and after a very varied dance career teaching at some very prestigious schools such as Arts Ed in Tring and doing pastoral support for the Junior Associates for The Royal Ballet as well as teaching BTEC and GCSE Dance at various secondary schools she now focuses on teaching the tiny dancers at Shine!

Miss Emma teaches Musical Theatre and Street Jazz at Shine and Co-owns the school. She is a highly skilled singer and singing teacher with lots of professional experience.

She loves teaching her Tuesday classes and is always high energy in her classes.

Miss Emily teaches Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Tap and Acro at Shine. We are super lucky to have her expertise and skills passed on in our studio, she trained at the prestigious Laine’s dance school and still performs regularly.

We really do have the dream team here at Shine and love to not only teach dance but to nurture the little and bigger humans across the board.

💙✨ Senior Tap Spotlight: The Ugly Duckling ✨💙

Our Senior Tap dancers truly shone in this year’s show 🩰✨
Starting timidly, covered by their black over-covers, they gradually grew in confidence — shedding the covers and revealing their sparkling sequences ✨💃

This performance was more than just tap steps - it was a beautiful metaphor for our dancers. Many start shy or nervous about trying something new, but through dance, they flourish. They gain confidence, make friends, and discover their inner strength and shine 💙

We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group and the courage they show every week 💙✨

🎟️ Want to see your child flourish on stage? Free trials available - visit our website to book today!
