Those who are planning to grade for Dan grades in June, please try to be at tomorrow’s class (Saturday 9th May)

Congratulations to those who passed their grading examinations today.
We used a new scoring system to give a fairer assessment, with an average of the combined scores of the grading panel from four areas (Kihon, Kata, Kumite and Pad work) creating an overall score.
This gave a clearer understanding of which areas scored higher or lower and as a result the plans for the next grading cycle can address these areas.
If you were unsuccessful on this occasion, take on the feedback, improve on those areas that were weaker and come back stronger next time.
