We’d love your help in keeping our Little Library stocked with books for local children to enjoy. If you have any good-quality children’s books at home that are looking for a new adventure, we’d be very grateful for your donation. 🥰

Come along, grab a coffee from our café, let the kids enjoy the park, and then take a gentle walk around our Wellbeing Trail to discover our Little Library. 📖

You can take a book, leave a book, or donate a few children’s books to help keep this little community resource going. ❤️

Every book shared is a new story, a new adventure and a little bit of magic for another child. ✨📚

🌿 A great day at the SAVS Volunteer Fair! 💚

Yesterday, Andy headed to the SAVS Volunteer Fair at The Forum in Southend, where he had the chance to meet and chat with lots of wonderful people about the volunteering opportunities available at Wellbeing at Garon Park.

We’re always looking for volunteers to help us care for and support our green spaces at Garon Park and there are lots of ways to get involved! 🌱 Whether you have a little time to spare, want to meet new people, learn new skills or simply give something back to your community, we’d love to hear from you.

WEEKEND CLEANER

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to help keep Garon Park clean, tidy and ready for opening.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
✓ Cleaning changing rooms and toilets
✓ Sweeping, mopping and hoovering floors
✓ Cleaning tables and communal areas
✓ Emptying and changing bins
✓ Litter picking around the site
✓ Ensuring facilities are clean and ready for visitors

WEEKEND HOURS
Saturday & Sunday
6:00am – 9:00am
Hours may be flexible by agreement.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITY
There may also be opportunities to provide weekday cover for staff holidays throughout the year.

Fresh, local produce available this week! 🍅

We have a beautiful selection of fresh vegetables available to purchase in our cafe this weekend.

Grown right here in our community garden using Shumei Natural Agriculture methods, and lovingly sown, nurtured and harvested by our wonderful volunteers. 💚

From garden to table, every purchase helps support our community growing project.

Come along to the cafe this week and pick up some fresh, locally grown veg! 🌿
