SWING PRIORITY #2 — THE PELVIS 🔥

If the pelvis isn’t organised, everything above it has to compensate.

Pelvic position and tilt have a huge influence on:

➡️ Spinal stability
➡️ Rotation & side bend
➡️ Ground reaction forces
➡️ Arm path & club delivery

For me, the pelvis is king — it’s the floor of the golf swing.

Get the floor right and the arms and club have a much better chance of organising themselves.

Using Sportsbox, I can see how the pelvis moves. TrackMan shows the resulting delivery, while HackMotion shows how my wrists respond.

Sometimes the path, face or wrist action you’re trying to fix isn’t the problem — it’s the compensation.

Organise the pelvis. Then see what changes.

Want to develop Tour-level wedge control? 🎯

Here’s a simple practice challenge I saw Scott Hamilton use with elite and Tour players.

Start by learning to swing a wedge at 60mph.

Then repeat that same 60mph swing with every wedge in your bag.

At Golfspot, you can use SkyTrak+ AND THE BALL YOU ACTUALLY PLAY WITH to start building your own wedge system and discover your true numbers.

Look beyond just distance:

🎯 Carry – how far does each wedge actually fly?
🌀 Spin – how much are you producing and how consistent is it?
🚀 Launch – what window is the ball coming out in?
⚡ Smash Factor – how efficiently are you striking it?

And because you’re hitting your own golf ball, you’re learning numbers that are far more relevant to what you actually take onto the course.

Once you’ve established your 60mph numbers, start experimenting with speed, launch and spin to develop different trajectories and distances.

This is what I call low-hanging fruit.

You don’t necessarily need to rebuild your golf swing to shoot lower scores.

Know your wedge numbers.
Understand your ball flight.
Control your distances.

More birdie chances. More pars saved. Fewer wasted shots.

⛳ Come down to Golfspot and try the 60mph Wedge Challenge.

Bring your wedges. Bring the ball you play. Let’s find your numbers.

Want better wedge control? 🎯

Try this simple drill I saw Scott Hamilton use with elite and Tour players.

Learn to swing a wedge at 60mph, then repeat it with every wedge in your bag.

Using SkyTrak+ and the ball you actually play, build your carry numbers while learning more about:

🎯 Carry
🌀 Spin
🚀 Launch
⚡ Smash Factor

It’s simple, measurable and low-hanging fruit for saving shots.

More birdie chances. More pars saved.

⛳ Come down to Golfspot and try the 60mph Wedge Challenge.

Bring your wedges. Bring your ball. Learn your numbers.
