Captain Jodie Dent was filling in at the back again in her old position, as a few injuries have hit us hard, and she definitely didnt forget how to tackle!

Jodies captaincy has pushed the ladies to a new level this season and her leading by example on the pitch is amazing!

💙💛 COACH PLAYER OF THE MATCH 💛💙

We have scored 6 goals in our two league games upon our return to the top flight of the North Riding leagues, and our super striker Hannah Allan has been involved in all 6!

Sunday she was able to assist Summer Jones for her first goal of the season from a lovely dipping free kick, whilst getting onto the scoresheet and converting a Jess Baker Assist!

Its not only the goal contributions though, her hardwork, determination to win and press every ball and her leadership is what won her this award on Sunday 👏

💙💛 Redcar Athletic 3 : 2 TIBS 💛💙

We conceeded in the first minute from a corner but Hannah Allan set up Summer Jones for her first of the season on the 7 minute mark to draw us level again.

Jess Baker then assisted Hannah for her 3rd in 2 games and this is what the half time score was.

Redcar scored 2 unanswered goals in the second half to sn**ch the points.

To be honest, as a team we are gutted to not have gotten something out of a game we felt we competed in for the majority of. Redcar played good football for the last 30 minutes of the game where TIBS fell off the mark.

We know where we need to improve and a hard training session doubling down on the positives and working on our weaknesses, and we go again!

Some great passing from the ladies and our attack caused a lot of chaos up front. Well done TIBS!
