Cup delight for our seniors!!

A great game for the neutral and a big test for our young side against a side in the league above, overcoming a strong Eastwood Hanley side

Today was our first cup game of the season and we faced a team from the division above.

The young lads managed a 2-0 win today in a tight affair and a great game it was.

Our first goal came late in the game when a ball was put in to the box from just inside the half, header won and knocked down by Ben which found Mike who on the half volley found the back of the net.

Our second goal came when Eastwood were piling forward. The ball sent back to their keeper who was subbed in but was quickly hunted down by Josh who won the ball and with an open goal he hit the back of the net.

Well done to all the lads.
