Ahead of our Touch Tournament on Sunday, it’s worth reflecting on just how far this section of our club has come.

Back in 2012, we had just 4–6 people at training and were often begging and borrowing players to field a team in the early days of Midlands Ladies Touch Rugby (MLTL)

Today we have:

🏉 Two teams (🔥 & 😡) competing regularly in the MLTL
🏉 Women’s and Mixed teams competing in englandtouch National Club NTS events (🦢)
🏉 A thriving junior section competing in the National Junior Touch Cup for three consecutive years

Representative honours include:

🎖️ Women’s Open & 27s Wildcats Regional Touch - England West
🎖️ Junior Wildcats Regional Touch – England West at U12, U14 & U17
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England G15 honours for three of our girls
🎖️ trysportsuk Centre of Excellence selection for five more players

The growth has been incredible, and the future is even brighter.

2027 marks 150 years of Stratford RFC — and we will be celebrating in style throughout the 2026/27 season with a series of landmark events:
