This weekend - Vals and Followers' technique. No class on Friday as we are heading to Cheltenham, which promises to be a wonderful weekend of Tango.

Vals, and a new idea. Sunday’s Mini Milonga in the garden was lovely. Good company, lovely music, wonderful dances, perfect weather, cake and fruit.

Ocho Cortada. Followers - don't think about where your feet go, just maintain the connection with your leader, and it will work. The theme this week is Ocho Cortada. It is a very common ‘move,’ that can be done in different ways, depending on the music and the leader.

Milonga. We had the best weekend. A truly wonderful Milonga on Saturday. We feel so privileged to have such a great group of tango dancers coming to our events from our Tango Essence group, and from an increasing number of visitors who enjoy the atmosphere here.

Following Marcelo Almiron's Visit, we practice and improve some new ideas. We had such a treat last week. Marcelo Almiron taught classes on Tuesday and Wednesday. In that time we explored the differences of embrace, and the way that we dance, in Milonguero style and Salon style. Feedback from the classes was so positive and we really hope he will return.
