🥊 MEET THE TEAM — KYLE NEILSON 🥊

Meet Kyle, the man behind the day-to-day running of Fight City 👊

Boxing has been part of Kyle’s life from the very beginning. As the grandson of heavyweight boxer Eddie Neilson, he’s grown up around the sport and has been working boxing shows since 2006.

In September 2021, Kyle joined Neilson Boxing full-time as Operations Manager & Matchmaker before taking over the management of Alpha Boxing & Fitness in 2022 — where he doubled the gym membership, set up Alpha Amateur Boxing Club, and worked alongside Craig Rawlins to help create and launch Alpha MMA.

In 2025, Kyle led the full transition from Alpha Boxing & Fitness to Fight City, overseeing the rebrand, relocation to our new premises and continued growth.

Alongside managing Fight City, Kyle continues his role as Operations Manager and Matchmaker for Neilson Boxing as well as popping up behind the scenes more recently for MF Pro and Misfits.

Passionate about boxing, fitness, and building a strong community for everyone who walks through the doors 🥊🔥

Lawrence Charles-Jones started his boxing journey later than most, first stepping into the gym in his late twenties at Alpha/Fightcity. What began as a personal challenge quickly became a passion after seeing the positive impact boxing and community can have on personal development, confidence, and discipline.

Wanting to give back and help others experience those same benefits, Lawrence joined Alpha ABC as an amateur coach. He is passionate about supporting people both inside and outside the ring, helping individuals build resilience, self-belief, and reach their potential through boxing. 👊🔥

Certified Level 2 England Boxing Coach with over 2 years of active coaching experience. Dan brings passion, discipline, and real fight knowledge to every session.

🔥 Trained in both amateur & professional boxing gyms since age 19
🥊 Stepped into the ring for white collar boxing bouts, including competing at the iconic York Hall.
📚 Continually developing under elite amateur & professional coaches
👊 Dedicated to helping fighters build confidence, skill & mentality

Rich Farnan brings over 30 years of experience in the world of boxing. Starting out as an amateur boxer for 6 years, Rich went on to build an outstanding career as a professional trainer, manager, and cutman.
