🐴NEW FRIENDS WANTED AT WICKSTEAD 🐴
We are very pleased to be busy! To ensure we continue to keep the right balance of lessons, rest and individual attention for our school horses, we are looking for a few more special horses to join our team.
We are particularly interested in active veterans looking for a quality “retirement career”, ideally around 14hh –16.2hh. We are happy to consider horses available for long-term loan, rehoming or purchase.
Our school horses generally take part in around 3–4 lessons per week and also join our Share Care scheme, giving them their own dedicated person to love, care for, groom and hack them, with opportunities to compete onsite too.
We offer our horses a fun and varied life, with plenty of turnout, lots of TLC and a carefully managed workload to suit each individual. They are kept at our 5⭐️ rated riding school horses are veterinary inspected annually.
We already have several horses who have been with us on long-term loan for many years and really value maintaining a good relationship with their owners. For horses joining us through rehoming, our aim is to offer them a home for life.
If you have a much-loved horse who may be ready to step down from their current job, but would still enjoy being active, having a purpose and receiving plenty of individual attention, we would love to hear from you.

Photos attached show just some of the varied lives our school horses enjoy.
Thank you — and please share! 🐴❤️
