September you were a bag of fun and brutality🤙🏻🍁💔

It saw the 6th and last week of the first She Shall Skate project where I’ve met some fantastic people 💁🏼‍♀️

I walked 25km across London to fundraise for the CIC and its future projects. 🥾

Went to my first Skateboard GB completion and had my socks blown off 💥

Had a go at my first funding application justification in front of Taunton Town Council and colossally flopped. 😑👍🏻

Invited to attend a successful local event! The new company equipment had its debut. 🎪

With the help of a surfskate sister, got some consistent weekly surfskate practice in.

I’ve found some brilliant allies along the way — people willing to back the idea, get involved and lend a hand- thank you so much ☺️ 🙏🏻

🤩TWINNING🤩I really owe just the biggest thank you to the amazing Andy from Men in Sheds for making these two kicker ramps 💙🧡🩷. I didn’t expect two, and I certainly didn’t expect them to be painted. He just went so above and beyond that I don’t think just one ‘thank you’ cake will cut it. One of the twins had their debut at the Wellington Pump track on Sunday and saw a lot of use that i didn’t know expect. So they’ll hopefully be making their way into future sessions.

If you’re looking for a good few hours out, head to Wellington Pumptrack Skatepark &Dirt Jumps- Somerset official opening on Saturday 26th from 10-2!
Come visit the Charlotte stand and get involved with some 🫟deck designing 🫟, either have a whole one to yourself, or have a smaller tag on the community board! 👨‍🎨
There’s also a few competitions on the day

Next Saturday (26th) is the grand opening of the Wellington Pumptrack Skatepark &Dirt Jumps- Somerset something I’ve seen grow from conception, to its development, its completion and now its inevitable success for the town! And yet haven’t had chance to see the actual track myself yet! Really looking forward to seeing what has been an awesome example of NEVER GIVE UP! 🙌🏻 I’ll be there with a stall, very kindly placed next door to the House of Cake 😍 with a few challenges and activities to get involved in. Come on down, say hello and check out what Olly and the team at Wellington Town Council have achieved! 🤙🏻
