Oake Manor Club Captain, Jon Ball, and his wonderful team are attempting to play 72 holes of golf today across four different golf courses in Somerset.
They began this morning at Minehead at 4:30am before heading to Enmore. With 2 rounds completed they are currently at Taunton & Pickeridge.
Oake Manor will be their 4th and final round of golf. If any members would like to come along and show their support as they finish it would be greatly appreciated.
Most importantly, they are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the Captains charity the Alfie Nick Foundation
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated.

We had the pleasure of hosting the annual Kirk’s Golf Day! This group helps raise money in memory of Kirk Frost (who was a member of Tiverton Golf Club) for the Exeter Hospiscare. A huge £5325 was raised on the day for a very worthy cause!

⛳️ 2026 Captains Drive In ⛳️
Our new Club Captain Jon Ball, Ladies Captain Mary Beakes, Seniors Captain Nick Mitchell and Junior Captain Max Snow officially teed off as Captains at 1pm today!
The first tee was littered with yellow flags, as people guessed the length of the drives!
With over 200 golfers entered in this fantastic Trophy, the winners of the day were Rob Parker and Will Parkman! Huge congratulations to them.
And of course a huge thank you to everyone who supported the day, with the yellow flags, raffle and entrance an impressive £1,710 was raised for the Alfie Nick Foundation. This is just a small part of the fund raising which will continue throughout the year for this amazing cause.
We just know all the Captains have a fantastic year ahead of them!
