Last week we introduced Trampolining to our Get Active Together inclusive summer activities during a trip to Quayside Trampoline and Gymnastics Club in Bridgwater. 🤸 It was brilliant to see so many young people bouncing, climbing around, and jumping into the foam pit. What a great day!

Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership (SASP) is inviting applications from organisations and stakeholders to access funding provided by Public Health at Somerset Council. 💙 The funding is designed to support training and development that creates lasting impact, with funded activity expected to be sustained for a minimum of 18 months. Projects could support areas such as:

• Accredited training in older adult physical activity, falls prevention, and strength & balance
• Training and capacity-building for staff and volunteers
• Developing skills and pathways across health, social care, voluntary, community and leisure services
• Improving signposting and brief intervention skills

We’re looking for projects that will help build a skilled, confident and connected workforce and strengthen the support available to older adults to be active, reduce falls risk and improve their health and wellbeing.
