Barton Belles are the Fairplay award winners! 🏆 💜

Huge congratulations to our women’s team who are the winners of the DWSL Fairplay certificate after being nominated by their fellow league teams.
Comments included “friendly, great spirit and were good competition. The team were fair on and off the pitch, even when up against it”

We couldn’t be prouder of our players, representing the Barton’s ethos and flying the flag high!

Unsung Hero Runner Up Award!

💙 With the domestic cricket season coming to an end, volunteers from across Devon clubs were celebrated at Day Three of Somerset County Cricket Club's Rothesay County Championship match against Surrey.

🏏 Treated to a view of the game from The Thatchers Terrace, winners and runners-up from this year's Devon Cricket Collective awards convened in Taunton to recognise their exceptional contributions at their respective clubs.

📸 Our special guests on the day were also presented with their awards by Somerset Men's Bowling Coach, Stephen Kirby, on the pitch prior to lunch in the Colin Atkinson Pavilion.

Presentation night 2026!
Congratulations to all our winners and a nod to those who couldn’t make it to collect their awards - Harry Shelton Players Player 2nd XI and David Cadwallader (joint) Bowling Award 2nd XI.
Big thank you to Dovey and Victoria for scoring, to Charlotte, Jane and Sue for the superb teas, to Ray for groundskeeping, to Steve for umpiring, to Mark for all the fixtures admin, to Becki for all the social media and play cricket admin, to Steve/ Nick, Tom, Andy, Jazz/Amy for captaining our sides for the season and finally to Jim for overseeing the whole operation 👏🏼
