Weekend Fixtures Sat 13th June

Barton CC U15 v Ipplepen CC U15 🏏

Great game for the 15s against Ipplepen CC
Winning the toss and elected to field.
A few wickets taken in the 1st innings with Brad and his tight bowling and fielding, Oscar taking a couple of wickets too 💪 leaving Ipplepen on a good score of 114.
Barton into bat, Coxy coming in at 3 hitting 45 giving the team a good start and Luke opening the batting seeing out the innings and Ben coming in to finish the business and get the win!
Great work lads!!

All in all, great team ethics from both sides and an enjoyable game - thanks Ipplepen

Barton Oak's welcomed a touring team ASCC on a dry but soggy day at the home of cricket.
Both teams showed the true meaning of cricket "let's just have a game of cricket and enjoy it". There were many wicket's taken on the day from both sides with lots of runs being scored but unfortunately ASCC just pipped the post and scored a few more to take the win.
All in all good cricket day enjoyed by all
