Active Futures is the new name for Positive Futures.
The project still provides the same exciting and engaging activities for young people in all areas of the town. The main aims are
- to engage children & young people between the ages 7-16 yrs using sports and physical activity
- to provide diversionary activities at times of greatest need and in areas of greatest need (Hot Spots)
- to work with those classed as NEET (Not in employment education or

Activities taking place this week as part of the Active Whitecross project:
All sessions 3.30 start
Monday: Sofball
Wednesday: Football
Thursday: Girls only activities with Cirkids
Friday: Rugby with Bank Quay Bulls
Activities for Local people, led by local people!

Numbers are improving and we are aiming to take part in a challenge match over the Summer against another Womens touch rugby team

This Friday sees the final week of Fixtures
at the Orford football streetleague
At 6.15 there will be a challenge match
between the Streetleague select team
and an All Star team consisting of ex pro's
and staff members
Included in this team will be Shaun Reid manager
of Warrington Town F.C

The Next YVOW (Young Voices Of Warrington) youth panel event takes place next Monday 2-5pm at Orford Jubilee Hub
It will involve lots of different sports and activities, aswell as discussions about future projects
