Our gym looks a little different this week - you’ll see new posters and signs sharing Roma’s Legacy, a project close to our hearts.
On 31st May, seven of our Watford Gymnastics coaches will be stepping onto the pitch to play in a charity football tournament, raising money for Young Minds UK - supporting young people’s mental health.
We’d love our Watford Gymnastics family to come along, show support, and help us continue the legacy of kindness, community and strength that Roma inspired. 🧡⚽️

We are home to over 1,000 children who come through our doors every week to learn, grow, and fall in love with gymnastics. For so many of them, this club is more than just a place to train, it’s a place where they build confidence, friendships, and a real sense of belonging.

Unfortunately, in 2028, our home will be knocked down as part of the area’s regeneration. Like anyone facing a big move, we know this will be both an emotional and financial challenge. But we’re determined to protect what we’ve built and secure a future for every child who calls this club their home.

Emily is stepping up!

Emily has taken a year out of her life to focus on running and to help us raise as much a we can. Today, she is running the Manchester Marathon to kick off our fundraising campaign, and she’s doing it for all of us.
Emily has been part of our club for 10 years. In that time, she has given so much of herself, encouraging nervous beginners, celebrating every small win, and helping hundreds of gymnasts grow not just in skill, but in confidence. She truly cares, and it shows in everything she does.
Now she’s taking on this huge personal challenge to help secure the future of the club and community she is part of.

If you can, please support Emily. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us take the next step towards a new home and ensure that this club can continue to be a safe, happy place for generations to come. Sharing this post and creating awareness will also help hugely.
