Thanks to everyone who came down and filled a boat for either the practice or the race itself - much appreciated! Particular thanks to Ashley who did much of the co-ordinating 👍

A big thank you to everyone who came to our Summer Social and Awards Presentation on Saturday ☺️ We hope everyone had a great time, and it was lovely to see the parents coaches, junior and senior players, and some of our 'old boys' (Life Members) all together in the same place. We also appreciated the players from other clubs who popped in to help share our achievements - we couldn't have made it through last season without you lads! 🙏

This event took a fair bit of work to get sorted, and was a team effort across the Committee, but special thanks to:

- Matt, Ed and Kris for running the Junior session in The Tommy Clucas Community Sports Hall
- Tony for managing the BBQ
- Chris for organising everything in The Kelvin Dawson Community Hub, and Sarah for staffing the bar
- The team at Celtic Gold for getting our trophies picked up, engraved and ready for collection in record time.

Awards winners will follow in a separate post! Thank you again to everyone who got involved ⚫️⚪️🏉

Pre-season resumes TONIGHT!

We’ve made the decision to change from a Thursday night, to avoid clashes with other things.

Come down tonight, 6:30-8pm and throw a ball around! ⚫️⚪️🏉

As the dust settles on a busy weekend for the Club, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who volunteered, helped out and supported the Club whilst we worked at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.

Everyone put a shift in, from the youngest members working the QR codes on tickets, to some of our more senior members working the gates and the parking.

A big thank you to all at RMAS for putting their faith in us once again, particularly Maurice and Keith for their support during both days, and to Lianne and Chris for their organisation and coercion of getting people involved.

We can’t put this post out without thanking our Life Member and former chief organiser of this event, Anna-Lena Kelly, who had done a lot of the work behind the scenes before stepping down from her duties in the spring due to ill health. We hope you continue to recover.

We hope everyone had a great time, and feel free to put your name forward again for the 13-14th August 2027!

Our Summer Social and Awards evening takes place next Saturday at Kelvin’s Hub within Peel AFC 🏆

This is a FREE event, and we woukd like to extend this invitation to anyone who has given up their time to help the Club this season.

Whether you have pulled on a shirt to help the senior team, assisted at the Royal Show in some capacity, or have helped in numerous other ways, we’d like to see you there and have a drink on us 🍺

We will have a BBQ going, and you’re free to bring your own food that we will cook for you. Any of our Junior parents wishing to bring their kids will have access to the Tommy Clucas Hall between 4:30-5:30pm to have a fun session organised by one of our qualified Junior coaches.

Finally, the awards themselves. Voting is now open, but only for a short time. Please click the link below and vote for the relevant awards so we can get them engraved in time for next week:
