SEPTEMBER… YOU’VE BEEN LIFE-CHANGING. ❤️‍🔥
The reset I didn’t even realise I so desperately needed. Thank you 🙏

It started with an escape with my hubby… and somewhere between the sunshine, the w**e and having NO kids to organise, we found something we’d perhaps forgotten was there….

A new strength in our marriage.
We went from: “Sh*t… our kids don’t need us as much anymore. What the hell do we do now?” .. to…
“OMFG… WE GET TO DO US.” 🥂
And suddenly, the next chapter feels VERY exciting 🥳

That little voice asking “Where do I fit now?” “Am I a bit redundant?” “How am I going to cope with everything changing?”
…plus “OMG, my hips and knees are knackered!” 😂 …has completely flipped.

OUT WITH THE OLD… I’m 💯 EMBRACING THE NEW. 🤘🏽
Who knew you’d still be learning some pretty valuable life lessons in your 50s?
Grief. Loss. Love. Mistakes. Misjudgements. Disappointment. Curveballs. Life still teaches you!!

But perhaps the biggest lesson?
I’m not here to decline.
I’m not here to justify myself.
My choices. My actions. My life.
And the relief? = REVOLUTIONARY !!!

No competing. No comparing.
Just me, trying to be the best version of ME.
Not perfect. But bloody REAL!

I love hard. I trust wisely. I value deeply.
And I’m making more space for what actually matters.
More Walking. Talking. Laughing. Living.
Even the odd proper day off… with chores obviously. 😂

Launching my first UGC collaboration with Ancient + Brave felt like more than creating content 🎬
Their ethos around “what you’re building for” really resonated. Because that’s exactly what I’m doing.

BUILDING For my next chapter.
Not clinging onto what’s moving on. Those memories are safe. ❤️

And yes, I’m accepting the hip and knee curveball 🙈 I don’t know when surgery will happen, but I DO know I’m going to prepare my body for whatever comes next 💯

You can’t always choose the cards you’re dealt. But you CAN always choose how you respond 👌

September, you’ve given me a new lease of life. ❤️‍🔥 A reset. A reality check.
And a bloody exciting glimpse of what’s next 💪🏽

HOLIDAY MONTAGE DUMP… A LITTLE LATE TO THE GRID 📸🇮🇹

But now it’s locked in… as are the memories. ❤️

Our first proper escape without the kids and, unusually for us, not a flop & drop holiday. 🫠

Just us. A classic Fiat 500 to whizz around in 🇮🇹, sunshine, exploring, eating, drinking, mooching… and discovering what it’s actually like to be just the two of us again.

Turns out we can still talk & laugh without the kids around to interrupt us. 😂

We can also navigate Amalfi roads like an episode of Mario Kart… 🚗💨

20 years on, we still drive each other slightly potty …mainly when I want to stop in EVERY shop for a mooch ..or take endless couple selfies 🤳 …. but guess what?

WE’RE STILL IN LOVE… AND ACTUALLY STILL LIKE EACH OTHER.

Well… that’s a bloody relief. 😂❤️

If anything, we’re stronger now than we were the day we got married.

Maybe because this time together gave us a little glimpse of what this next chapter could look like…

More freedom.
More travel.
More adventures.
Just us, discovering what’s next. ✈️🌍

And Amalfi? Absolutely bloody beautiful.

But we didn’t want touristy, polished, posh-wanker Italy.

We wanted authentic. Local. Relaxed.

And that’s exactly what we found.

Our little hotel @ was an absolute beauty — perfect location, THE view of Capri, gorgeous rooms, incredible food and sundowners that were just as perfect as we’d imagined. 🍝🍸🌅

Honestly… it couldn’t have been a better place for our first proper escape.

So now the important question…

WHERE DO WE GO NEXT? 🌍 ✈️ ❤️
