🏉❤️🖤 HISTORY MADE AT WILLENHALL RUGBY CLUB! 🖤❤️🏉

Today was a truly special day for Willenhall Rugby Club as our girls took to the field for the FIRST EVER junior girls rugby match in the club’s history, facing a tough Rugeley girls side! 🔥

For some of our girls, this was their very first experience of playing a rugby match, but you wouldn’t have known it! The girls got stuck in from the first whistle, played some fantastic rugby and scored some brilliant tries! 💪🏉

Despite facing a strong Rugeley team, our girls never gave up and showed incredible determination, teamwork and spirit throughout the game. We saw some fantastic work around the rucks, some great efforts at scrum time and plenty of moments that showed just how much potential this team has!

Today wasn’t just about the result; it was about taking that first step, making memories and building something special for the future of girls’ rugby at Willenhall. ❤️🖤

We’ve got plenty to work on in training, plenty to learn and plenty to look forward to, but one thing is for certain: these girls should be incredibly proud of what they achieved today!

A massive well done to every single girl who pulled on that Willenhall shirt. You all deserve every bit of credit coming your way. Your effort, commitment and attitude were outstanding! 👏❤️🖤

A huge thank you to Rugeley for a fantastic game and to everyone who came down to support the girls and be part of this historic occasion.

This is just the beginning! The future of girls’ rugby at Willenhall looks bright! 🌟🏉

❤️🖤
