Almost half the year is gone.
How many times have you told yourself you'll start next week?
The truth is.…..
The right time was January.
Then February.
Then March, April, and May.
Now it's June.
And you still have a choice.
You can spend the next 6 months feeling frustrated with your energy, your clothes getting tighter, and putting yourself last.……
Or you can spend them becoming stronger, healthier, and more confident than you've felt in years.
This isn't about being perfect. It's about finally putting yourself back on your own priority list. June doesn't have to be another month that slips by.
Your future self will thank you for the decision you make today.
Drop "JUNE" below if you're ready to make the second half of the year your strongest yet.

“When I’m ready, I’ll start.”
It’s something so many women tell themselves.
When life is less busy.
When work calms down.
When the kids need you less.
When you have more energy.
When you feel more motivated.
When the timing is better.
The problem is, life rarely slows down and the “perfect time” never seems to arrive.
Weeks turn into months. Months turn into years. Before you know it, you’ve spent far longer thinking about making a change than actually making one.
I’ve seen so many women over 40 put their health, fitness, and happiness on hold because they believe they need to feel ready first.
But confidence doesn’t come before action.
Motivation doesn’t come before action.
Readiness doesn’t come before action.
They come because of action.
The women who transform their lives aren’t necessarily the most motivated. They aren’t the ones with the most free time. They aren’t the ones who have everything figured out.
They’re simply the women who decide to begin.
They start with a walk around the block.
They start with one strength training session.
They start by drinking more water.
They start by making one better choice than they made yesterday.
And over time, those small decisions create extraordinary results.
One day they realise they feel stronger.
They have more energy.
They sleep better.
They feel more confident.
They believe in themselves again.
Not because they waited until they were ready, but because they started before they felt ready.
If you’re waiting for the perfect moment to prioritise your health, fitness, or happiness, consider this your reminder:
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need more motivation.
You just need to take the first step.
Your future self isn’t asking you to be perfect.
She’s simply asking you to start.
❤️ If you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it.
What is one thing you’ve been putting off that you know would improve your life?

Every pound of muscle you build today is an investment in the woman you’re becoming.
Not just for how you look, but for how you live.
It’s carrying the shopping in one trip without struggling.
It’s getting up off the floor with ease.
It’s having the energy to keep up with your children, grandchildren, and the life you want to enjoy.
It’s feeling strong, capable, and confident in your body instead of worrying about what it can no longer do.
Most women start strength training because they want to lose weight, tone up, or feel better in their clothes. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But the real magic goes far beyond the mirror.
Every workout is building a stronger metabolism.
A stronger body.
A stronger mindset.
You’re protecting your independence, your confidence, and your quality of life for years to come.
You’re not just exercising.
You’re making a choice about the kind of woman you want to be in your 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond.
Start building her today.

Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who smile through the pain, keep showing up when life gets hard, and refuse to let their struggles define them.
Hazel is one of those people.
This incredible woman has been through so, so much, faced challenges that could have easily broken her spirit, yet every single week she walks through those doors with determination, courage and that amazing smile on her face.
What inspires me most about Hazel isn’t just the progress she’s making physically although she is absolutely smashing her training it’s the mindset she brings with her every single session. No excuses. No self-pity. Just resilience, heart and a willingness to keep moving forward no matter what life throws at her.
There are days when people would never know what she’s carrying behind the scenes because she still finds a way to encourage others, support those around her and bring positivity into the room. That kind of strength cannot be measured on scales or in workouts. That’s real strength.
Hazel, you are proof that even after difficult times, people can rebuild themselves stronger, more confident and more powerful than ever before. Your journey is inspiring more people than you probably realise, and your determination reminds others that it’s never too late to fight for yourself, your health and your happiness.
This is a huge shout out to an absolutely amazing woman. We are all incredibly proud of you and honoured to be part of your journey. #
Keep believing in yourself, keep pushing forward and keep shining bright… because you truly are inspiring.

FIT OVER 40 TRANSFORMATION
This incredible transformation from the wonderful client is exactly why we are so passionate about what we do at LEF.
This client has been following our Fit Over 40 Framework and training consistently with Alison for some time now and the results speak for themselves.
So many women over 40 believe that losing weight, building confidence, and feeling good again is impossible because of age, hormones, menopause, busy lifestyles, or years of trying different diets… but here is proof that with the right support, structure, and coaching, amazing changes CAN happen.
Through consistent weight-based training, sustainable nutrition habits, and accountability, she has not only transformed physically but has grown stronger, healthier, and more confident along the way.
Weight training is one of the most powerful tools for women over 40. It helps build lean muscle, boost metabolism, improve energy, strengthen bones, and create long-term sustainable fat loss — and this client has embraced the process every step of the way.
This is what the Fit Over 40 Framework is all about:
✔️ Building strength
✔️ Creating healthy habits
✔️ Improving confidence
✔️ Supporting women through every stage of life
✔️ Achieving REAL sustainable results
We are incredibly proud of both the client and Alison. The commitment from client and coach has been amazing to watch, and this transformation is so well deserved .
This client is an inspiration to so many women who think it’s “too late” to change. It absolutely isn’t.

We’ve been taught to accept aging as a slow decline in strength, energy, mobility, and independence.
But science tells a different story.
After age 30, adults can lose 3–8% of muscle mass per decade, with the rate accelerating after 60. This age-related muscle loss called sarcopenia is one of the biggest reasons people become weaker, slower, and more fragile as they age.
The good news?
Research consistently shows that resistance training is one of the most powerful tools we have to slow and even reverse many of these effects.
Strength training helps:
✔ Preserve and build lean muscle
✔ Improve bone density and reduce fracture risk
✔ Improve balance, posture, and joint stability
✔ Reduce risk of falls and injuries
✔ Improve insulin sensitivity and metabolic health
✔ Support heart health and brain function
✔ Increase energy, confidence, and overall quality of life
And no, you do NOT need to spend hours in the gym or train like an athlete.
You simply need to challenge your body consistently.
Aging is inevitable.
Frailty is not.
The goal isn’t to look 25 forever.
The goal is to still be able to move well, carry groceries, travel, play with grandkids, get off the floor easily, and stay independent at 70, 80, and beyond.
Every workout is an investment in your future self.
Train for the next 40 years of your life not just the next 40 days.
