Happy Birthday, Glenn Turner.

A name written permanently into cricket history.

On this day we celebrate the man who, in 1982, walked out at New Road and scored 311 not out against Warwickshire โ€” carrying Worcestershire to 501 for 1 declared, and in doing so, reached his 100th first-class century.

That moment was captured in the photo above โ€” Glenn alongside Duncan Fearnley himself, champagne in hand, bat in tow.

A partnership between player and craftsman that defined an era.

From all of us at Duncan Fearnley โ€” Happy Birthday, Glenn.

A true legend of the game!

What an honour to share this.

Dr Amit Rangnekar of 7Islands Memorabilia, a collection spanning 200+ sports, reached out to us with something truly special. We will let his words do the talking.

"Our prized possession is the AB 10000 Duncan Fearnley bat used by the great Allan Border, the first to 11000 runs in test cricket. He is also the first to play 150 tests, yet maintains an average of 50+ runs per wicket. What a player AB, salute.

The Lords 200 years bat contains autographs by the first ever to reach 9000 and 10000 test runs, Sunil Gavaskar, first to 11000 runs Allan Border, and the first to 12000, 13000, 14000 and 15000 runs Sachin Tendulkar. This bat is a timeline of batting greatness.

The Duncan Fearnley Clubman signed by the legendary Sunil Gavaskar is a piece of art. He used the Duncan Fearnley during his epic 221 at The Oval in 1979, described by Sir Len Hutton as among the Top 3 innings he had ever seen, comparing him with Bradman and Hammond."

We are humbled. Truly. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ

Allan Border has been talking AND when AB speaks, cricket listens.

The Australian legend and Duncan Fearnley icon has heaped praise on 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, comparing his flair to none other than Brian Lara.

"He reminds me a little of Lara in terms of flair" โ€” high praise doesn't get much higher than that.

Border sees Test cricket in his very near future.

The cricketing world is paying attention.

We wonder what willow a future legend like Vaibhav will choose.
