You know you should probably be doing some strength training…
But life is busy.
Work, children, family, appointments, everything else that seems to come before doing something for yourself.
And when you do have some free time, going to the gym can feel like another thing to figure out.
This is where 1:1 personal training can help.
Most of my PT clients are women who know they need to get stronger, but find it difficult to make training a regular part of their week.
So we put it in the diary.
You turn up, I tell you what we're doing, and we work through it together.
Sessions aren't about smashing yourself or leaving the gym exhausted. We focus mainly on strength, working through sets with proper rest, and usually finish with a bit of cardio, boxing or something similar.
Over time, it's about noticing that you're getting stronger.
Feeling more confident using weights.
Finding everyday things a little easier.
And having that feeling of “I'm actually doing something for me.”
I also run small group sessions, which are more circuit-based, mixing weights and cardio at a slightly higher intensity, but always with ways to adapt things to suit the people in the group.
So if you've been thinking you really should get back into exercise, but keep putting it off, maybe it's time to get it in the diary. 💚
Drop me a message if you'd like to have a chat about what might suit you 😊
