Our biennial clash with France at Golf de Chantilly starts this morning.

The match will feature four foursomes each morning, followed by eight singles ties in the afternoon across two days.

England have an impressive record in this fixture, winning 26 of the 32 encounters — and will be looking to reclaim the trophy after narrowly missing out last time, having last tasted victory in France in 2022.

They’re joined by Lewy Hayward (Marlborough Golf Club), Max Hopkins (Bishops Stortford Golf Club) Luke Jenkins (Rochester and Cobham Park GC), Jake Sowden (The Oaks Golf Club & Spa) and Jamie Van Wyk (Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club) in a side ready to take on the long-standing rivalry.
