Ashbourne Rugby Club

Ashbourne Rugby Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Colm Andrews, father to our colleague Trevor, his daugther-in-law Jane, and his grandchildren Niall, Shane and Lucy. All five are active in the club and he will be missed by them all.

Colm was a member of DLSP and also sat on the Leinster Branch Disciplnary committee and was very well respective in rugby circles

On behalf of the club Executive and all our members we offer our condolences to the family in this sad time.

All 6 Ashbourne Ambassadors (Sean Flynn,Mark Morrison,Eoghan Heade,Nick Dillon,Ewan McKay and Ross Odia )have now landed in South Africa and have begun integrating into the UXi Rugby Academy.

A fantastic turnout at the Ashbourne RFC AGM on 29th June, thank you to everyone who attended.

We are delighted to welcome Kevin Quinn as our new Club President, taking over from Seán Mahon, and Katie Kelly as our new Club PRO. We wish Kevin and Katie every success in their new roles and look forward to an exciting season ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to Seán Mahon for his hard work, dedication, and outstanding commitment in promoting and representing Ashbourne RFC over the past number of years. We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Aidan Gleeson for his valued contribution and service to the club.
