LAST DAY TO SIGN UP! I was smiling in this photo because it was over!

After my marathon at the end of 2024, I completely fell out of love with running.

I felt flat, sluggish and honestly just done with it. For the next 10 months, every time I ran, I hated it. I did run, but my body was screaming back to stop.

So after a good rest period of not pushing myself to run (of nearly a year!), I shifted my focus in September 2025.

I focused on my classes, strength training and targeted fitness, short bursts of 30 seconds of cardio mixed into strength work, just three mornings a week. Another key ingredient was consistent, regular walking.

That was it.

Yes, I did a some running - because I finally started to enjoy it.

But the foundation was strength, walking and consistency.

And here’s the result.

On Christmas Day, I ran my fastest 5k parkrun time of the year! I was thrilled!

Not from grinding miles.
Not from overtraining.
But from building a strong, resilient body that could support running again.

That baseline was enough to get me feeling amazing, strong and energised.

I plan to keep going and I fully believe I can get back to my pre marathon times with:
• my strength classes
• walking
• and only a small amount of run training

That is exactly how The Strength Studio is designed.

You don’t need hours.
You don’t need daily workouts.
You need 2 to 3 strength sessions per week, just 30 minutes at a time, to build strength, muscle mass and fitness at a level you may never have thought possible.

A structured, realistic program built specifically for women who want training they can actually sustain.

This photo reminds me what confidence really looks like.

Quiet. Grounded. At ease.

However, as a trainer, I sometimes see other coaches online and feel little niggles of doubt.

Should I do it that way?

Should I change how I coach?

But I always come back to what matters most to me.

I don’t believe in before and after photos.

I don’t believe anyone needs to change how they look to be valued.
And I truly value every woman who trusts me with her health and fitness.

That’s why I keep my numbers small.
So I can really get to know each woman.
How her body feels.
How training fits into her life.
How she’s progressing as an individual, not against a standard.

Strength Studio isn’t about comparison.
It’s about confidence in your own journey.

I don’t go for walks or runs because I have to.
I go because I genuinely love how they make me feel.

I strength train because it’s built for me.
Because it supports my body, my hormones, my bones, my confidence and my future.

I wake early not because I’m disciplined or “good”, but because the peace, silence and clarity of the morning has been one of the biggest game changers of my life.

I didn't remove alcohol from my life out of obligation or rules or pressure.
I choose not to drink because I made a promise to myself not to waste a single minute on anything that leaves me feeling less than energetic, clear and alive.

All of this matters because when big obstacles show up, my health isn’t something I need to negotiate with myself about.

It’s not a decision.
It’s a habit.
It’s a lifestyle.

And that changes everything.
