⚪️🟢What a start for our U8 girls! ⚪️🟢
Our U8 girls team has made a fantastic start to the season, showing plenty of enthusiasm, energy and determination every time they step onto the pitch.
But more importantly, we’re seeing the girls come together as a team — supporting each other, encouraging each other and, most importantly, having lots of fun along the way! 💚
There’s a brilliant team spirit already developing, and it’s fantastic to see the girls growing in confidence and enjoying their football week after week.

We are looking at setting up a senior women's team to enter the newly formed AUL Futsal League. We are looking for people to help run it, too, with support from the club. You can play from 16 years and older. You can also play for a different futsal club to your 11 aside club. If interested, please contact us via email at [email protected] or via our futsal instagram page. This is an exciting initiative by the AUL with potentially exciting developments in the future.

🟢⚪️ Player Pathway 🟢⚪️

Congratulations to 17 year old Sean McCormack on making his first competitive start for our Senior Men's 1st Team last night!

Sean was part of last season's U17 DDSL Premier Side and was coached by Brian Tighe and John Gaffney - he has made the jump to Senior Football this season and has slotted in really well, with his technical ability and eye for goal bringing real quality to the squad.

Sean capped a fine display last night with 2 goals in a 3-1 win over Rialto FC in the LFA Junior Cup, and was unlucky not to have a hatrick as he smashed the bar with a great effort from distance.

The make up of our squad last night is a big nod to the fantastic work being done by our juvenile coaches, with two other members of last season's U17s also involved - 16 year old Ben O'Donoghue starting, 17 year old Tom McMahon coming off the bench - whilst 3 members of last season's U18s also featured - big Aido Walsh played in goal, Jake Hall came off the bench, and Matty Cawte was part of the match day squad...the future is bright 💚🤍
