Last Thursday the Energia AIL Awards was held in the Bective clubhouse where are very own Emmett Sheridan won the Community Hero Award. A massive congratulations to Emmett and all of his hard work behind the scenes for Bective for many years.

SEASON OVER AND OUT

A final that lived up to the billing. Two clubs going all out, going 4 try’s a piece but Clonmel just edge it at home.

One hell of a first season back in the AIL with a runners up after 20 hard earned games. We go again next season.

One final game for the Bective 1XV to round up a successful first year back in the AIL and it doesn’t get much bigger than a final league decider.

Two cracking previous games between the two sides, with both taking a win each and now the decider.

All support needed for this AIL final in Clonmel, supporters bus leaving the clubhouse 10:30am.

SUPER SATURDAY | TRIPLE BECTIVE FINALS

The final weekend of rugby action and it’s all to play for as Bective seek league and cup glory.

Kicking off at 2:30pm Bective travel down to Clonmel for the AIL Final. Later back in Dublin we have a double bill of cup finals as both our 3XV and 4XV go for cup glory.

Whether you want to make the trip down to Clonmel or stay in Dublin, show your support and wear those Bective colours. All season has been building to this weekend so all support is needed for one final push.

Fellow Members,

‘ONE CLUB’ is the heart and soul of everything we do in Bective.

Whatever we do as Minis, Youths, 20’s, Junior, Senior, Coaches, Players Friends or Alickadoos we do it together and for each other.

Thankfully Bective is flying, teams are winning, and everyone is playing their part.

The last few weeks have seen the 2nds, 4ths and Under 13’s suffer narrow defeats in their respective finals while the Under 20’s and Under 15’s Bective/ Lansdowne team have each won their Leagues.

This weekend brings Bective’s Super Saturday with 3 finals not to be missed.

Our 1st Team travel to Clonmel for the A.I.L. 2C Final @ 2.30pm

Our 3rds play Lansdowne in the O’Connor Cup Final @ 3.30pm in Old Belvedere

Our 4ths play Barnhall in the Guilfoyle-James Cup Final @ 5.30pm in Old Belvedere

As President and as part of our ‘One Club’ policy I would encourage as much support as possible for these 3 teams.

If you are feeling energetic take the supporters bus to Clonmel.

If traveling does not suit and you fancy a feast of good rugby take a wander down to Old Belvedere.

If you are committed to something else or can’t make either of the venues, please pick someone you know who is involved and give them a call or send them a text of encouragement.

Not to be for the Bective Under 13s yesterday in the Leinster League Final as they lose out in a close and tight final in Donnybrook against Clontarf.

UNDER 15s LEINSTER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!!!

After last year winning the Leinster under 14 youth cup, BL Rugby(Bective/Lansdowne) took another step this year winning the league this afternoon against St.Marys College.

Congrats to all players, coaches and management for a great campaign this season.
