We return to training in the AUL Complex this Saturday at 10am.

Our players will come together after a long summer for their eagerly awaited return to football. We cannot wait to see our groups come together again.

Today we celebrate our Reece’s 18th birthday as we will celebrate his life on Saturday and always.
Reece will be with us forever, kicking every ball.
Looking forward to another great season TOGETHER

Thank you all so much for your tributes to Reece Farrell 💚🖤🤍

💚A Moment of Reflection for Reece 💚

As many of you may have heard, Reece from the CP Football Academy Dublin sadly passed away after becoming unwell.

The CP Football Academy has always been incredibly welcoming, supportive and inspiring to us as a club. Their passion for providing opportunities for young people with CP has helped shape our own vision, and we have often tried to model parts of our club on the example they set.

Reece was a valued member of that special football family, and our thoughts are with his family, friends, teammates, coaches and everyone connected to the academy during this heartbreaking time.

We held a minute's silence at training today as a mark of respect and remembrance for an amazing young man gone far too soon.

💚Rest in peace, Reece. You will never be forgotten. 💚

Today as we prepare to say the hardest of goodbyes to our boy Reece Farrell, a few words on behalf of the players from our captain Jack O’ Sullivan.

“On behalf of the players of the CP Football Development Academy l'd like to express our deepest condolences to Reece's Dad Tom who is a coach at the Club, his brother Luke, his sister Chloe and the rest of his family and friends who will sorely miss him. The news was very sudden and difficult to take for all of us as players. Our thoughts go to those closest to him at such a tragic time.
Reece will remain a shining example for any young lad playing for this Club as his hard work was relentless and his enthusiasm for the game was infectious. A testament to this was the fondness that all of his coaches had for him. He repaid this by always treating his coaches and teammates with the utmost respect.
Reece was the perfect teammate and the perfect friend.
Above all he will be remembered for what a lovely young man he was and will be sorely missed but never forgotten”

We are devastated beyond words that our much loved club member, Reece Farrell, passed away on Friday night in the Mater Hospital. We are heartbroken for Reece’s Dad Tom and the rest of the Farrell family.
Reece was a kind and gentle young man who was passionate about his footbal. He will be sadly missed by everyone in the Academy.

Our thoughts are with the Farrell family at this time.

This past weekend was another special one for our Club as the Republic of Ireland CPMNT took on Northern Ireland at the home of Clones Town in Co. Monaghan.

In a playing squad of 17, 14 of the players came through the ranks at our Club.
Club players Ruadhan Dooley McDonagh, Sam Mangan, Luke Staunton, Darryl Fay and Sam Graham all made their first appearances in the Green shirt in a 9-0 win for the Republic.

Eight of the nine goals on the day were scored by Club players.
Warren Morrissey scored twice and there was a fine finish from Eric O’ Flaherty to mark his return to the National team.
There were first international goals from Club players Conor Halpin and Jack O’ Sullivan, as well as debut goals for Darryl Fay (x1) and Sam Graham (x2)
International Captain and CP football legend Dillon Sheridan was the other goalscorer.

We are immensely proud of all of our players, past and present, who have pulled on our National team shirt

National team training on Academy turf 🇮🇪

The AUL hosted the CPMNT today as the provisional squad prepare for the World Cup coming up this October in Atlanta.

Our Club was represented by 13 of the training squad of 16 today. In the provisional squad of 22, 19 of the players represent the Club past and present 💪🏻

We would like to wish a massive Happy Birthday to The DoF! Our Director of Football, coach and a great man.

At 69 years young his enthusiasm and passion for helping young footballers to reach their potential playing the game that he loves is unmatched. He’s done it all and has a lot more to do.
