Tomorrow weโ€™ll be taking a squad of young players to the first ever U-16 CP Challenge Cup in Warwick University.

7 players in our squad have come through our Foundation Group which is a massive credit to our Foundation Group coaches who help our young players to develop.

Adam Caulfield deserves a special mention as he is the first player to progress through all of the Clubโ€™s development groups, even at the young age of just 14.

Sam Graham will Captain our squad. Sam has been playing with our Senior Club team since the tender age of 11. He travelled with our senior squad to the CP Challenge Cup in March and is already training with the Irish CP MNT all before he turns 16 this December.

Another of our young players, Darryl Fay, in his first full season with the Club also represented our Senior group back in March and trains with the Irish CP MNT. Although unfortunately missing the games tomorrow through injury Darryl will still travel with the squad to support his teammates ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Congratulations to all of the players for working so hard and earning the chance to represent our Club.

Everyone at our Club would like to extend their deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Tony Cosgrave.

Once in a while you are fortunate enough to meet a gentleman of the game and Tony was certainly one of those. A friend to all who knew him, Tony will be sadly missed by the football community, particularly those involved with the AUL.
Tony was a true ambassador to Irish football, his association with the AUL dates back over 40 years, bringing so much to our game in that time.

Our thoughts are with Tonyโ€™s wife Carmel, his four children, extended family and friends.
