The thing I love most about having a big experience on my calendar isn’t the experience itself, it’s the months of anticipation leading up to it.

Knowing that something ✨ahhhmazing✨ is coming shifts how I move through my regular days.

The 6am wake-ups, the mom-chauffeuring, the busting inbox and my mile long to-do list feel just a little lighter... because I have something significant and meaningful to look forward to.

I can’t quite put my finger on it but the best I can come up with is in an era of information overload and AI-generated everything (no shade, it has a real role) the thing I’m most craving is real human connection.

There is something about going through a challenge with a human who has real feelings, real fears, real doubts, real guilt and works through those moments to get to her next level.

I didn’t create the Restore Retreat because it was a fabulous business decision 😆 it was something I actually wanted for ME, bringing together my favorite parts of live experiences into one landing spot for you.

It’s a CME accredited experience, happening on March 4–7 at Grand Velas Boutique in Cabo 🌴 and if you’ve never been let’s just say this is not your typical all-inclusive.

It’s adults-only and chef-inspired (think Michelin-level), with suites that anticipate your every whim.

You just... arrive. And the rest is taken care of.

Here is my personal FAVORITE part?
You get 5 full months of anticipation.

I don’t know if it can get better than that 🤍

Send me a DM and I’ll be happy to share more. We’re down to our last room in our retreat block, so don’t let this decision linger for long.

xoxo.

I don’t claim to have figured it all out, but if you want an unfiltered POV on life as a busy professional woman with a desire to create bigger dreams while challenging your biggest, stickiest obstacles, you’re in the right place.

About me: I’m an expert Overthinker, mom of two, OBGYN physician, TEDx speaker and podcaster. In the past 7-8 years I’ve been most obsessed with helping smart, professional women address their real stresses at the root and lose weight with science informed strategies and mindset coaching.

But I want to have a bigger conversation, with my name attached to what I’m saying.

If you notice the new IG handle, that’s why 💜

Be back soon and thanks for being here.

With love ~ P.

I wasn’t a big solo traveler until a few years ago, and luxurious travel was a FAR stretch. It wasn’t something I grew up with, so taking a trip ✨ just for me ✨ felt a little extra indulgent. But about 6 years ago, I joined a coaching mastermind whose kickoff was in Mexico, and that experience changed my perspective, completely.

Just booking the plane ticket felt different... and by the time the Uber pulled into my driveway, I felt a freedom I still can’t quite put into words.

Live, in-person coaching and connection collapsed the timeline for me. Decisions I had spent months overthinking, felt clear in 3 days because I could finally hear myself. I came home more fulfilled and ever since, I’ve kept making space for live-experiences like that.

Last year, I brought my favorite parts of in-person events together to my CME-accredited Restore Retreat in Cabo, Mexico🌴 and even though I was the one hosting, I needed that space, too.

Being in the experience gave me the inspiration to pursue my 🔴 TEDx dream. And while delivering the talk was special, it was the clarity and decision during the retreat that was my favorite part of the entire year.

If you’re craving meaningful connection outside the noise of stress and overthinking and have a desire in self-growth, we’re returning March 4–7, 2027, to the adults-only, all-inclusive Grand Velas Boutique in Cabo, Mexico.

We’ll spend our mornings coaching, with plenty of time to rest, recharge, and most importantly you’ll finally have the space to hear yourself again.

I know taking time away takes some figuring out, but I also know how it feels to have something on the calendar that’s just for you. You don’t have to overthink this one.

I’m filling the last remaining rooms, and if this note is sparking a desire in you, I’d love to have you there.

Send me a DM and I’ll share details.

Some people get a thrill out of chasing impossible goals, not me. Up until recently, I only chased “practical goals” that had a clear roadmap. I’m reflecting with some unfiltered thoughts and the most important lesson I’ve learned pursuing TEDx.

This past Saturday was more than a 12 minute talk.

Getting into my new perspective on Impossible Goals. Link in Bio or comment ‘Substack’ and I’ll DM you the essay

It’s hard to even put into words what I felt today. A culmination of months (maybe years?) or work towards a 12 minute talk on a 🔴 red circle.

Today was just a snapshot, an important one that the outside got to experience— but the past many, many months was where the work really happened.

Thank you especially to my friends, peers and family who didn’t laugh at the idea and most importantly, didn’t let me laugh at the idea of sharing something important at

Impossible dreams don’t happen on an island.

I’m so here for it— and can’t wait for more dream catching. I hope you come with me ❤️

A few days from now, I’ll be standing on a red circle in Philadelphia giving my TEDx talk.

My brain has already rehearsed just about every way it could go wrong.

And I realized something: the negative version always seems to get labeled “realistic,” while the version where things go well feels naive.

But I have evidence for neither.

A negatively-biased question isn’t practical. It’s predictive. It makes you notice every obstacle and reason something might not work.

So when your brain gives you the negative rerun, you don’t have to fight it.

Just give the other version equal airtime.

What does the version of you who chooses possibility over fear believe?

Save this post and come back when you need the reminder.

I never call family trips a vacation. I call them “trips” 🥰 for a reason. Lesson-series coming soon.
