Story time ❤️ Today we would like to introduce you to one of our members how she started and how she tottaly transformed her life 😇

She didn’t know how to squat.
Not metaphorically. Literally.
Beverly walked into Powerbox for the first time and had never performed a single athletic movement in her life.
No gym. No sport. No training. Nothing.
She’s a PhD. A university lecturer. One of the sharpest minds in the room… any room. But inside these walls, she was a complete beginner.
And she knew it.
Most people at that point make an excuse and leave. The weight feels too heavy. The movements feel too foreign.
The others look too experienced. Life gets too busy and Beverly’s life?
Between her academic career and her packed schedule busy doesn’t even cover it.
But she didn’t leave.
She showed up at 5:30 AM.
Then she showed up again. And again. No excuses. No shortcuts. Just her, the bar, and a decision she made and kept making every single morning before the rest of the world woke up.
Weeks passed. Then months.
The movements that once felt impossible became natural.
The weight that once felt immovable started moving.
And somewhere along the way, something deeper shifted her mindset, her habits, her identity.
Beverly didn’t just build a body.
She became an athlete.
This is what we want you to understand. Beverly didn’t have an athletic background.
She didn’t have extra time.
She didn’t have perfect conditions.
She had a decision.
And a community that refused to let her quit.
It doesn’t matter where you are right now. It only matters where you choose to go.

The Challenge was created for athletes willing to push past discomfort, doubt, and limits.
One challenge.
One clock.
One chance per month.
MALE

• 50 Cal Row

FEMALE
• 40 Cal SkiErg
• 40 Cal Row

TIME CAP:
8 MINUTES
OFFICIAL RULES
• Machines reset before start
• Continuous running clock
• Calories must fully register before switching machines
• No assistance allowed
• Damper settings fixed
• No pacing from other athletes
• Full uncut video required
• Clock and calories must stay visible
• Final time clearly shown
• 2 witnesses visible on camera
• Video posted inside Powerbox Community Chat
• ONLY 1 official attempt allowed per month
Any edited video, incomplete calories, or invalid transitions = failed attempt.

We are proud of every athlete who stepped onto that floor and gave everything for the team.
Big respect to the coaches, supporters, families, and every single person behind the scenes.

Saturday doesn’t always have to be a hard day.
Sometimes the smartest thing you can do is listen to your body.
If you’ve been training consistently at PowerBox all week, feeling a bit stiff, tight, heavy, or simply fatigued… that’s not weakness that’s feedback.
Recovery is part of the process too.
Not every session needs to leave you on the floor.
Some days are about moving, recovering, and keeping the blood flowing while still getting quality work in.
Try this session today 👇
• 45 min Bike Erg @ easy Zone 2 pace
(comfortable pace, smooth breathing, nothing crazy)
Then:
4 Rounds:
* 12 Incline Bench Press
* 12 DB Chest Flies
* 12 Bent Over Rows
* 25 AbMat Sit-Ups
Total session:
~1h20–1h30
This is the kind of workout that helps you recover while still feeling productive.
You’ll finish feeling better, looser, energized, and ready for the next hard training day.
Train hard when it’s time to train hard.
Recover smart when your body asks for it.
