👑 10 TITLES!

A special congratulations to Lee Barker, who has claimed his 10th Ashburton Squash Club Men’s Championship.

That puts Lee alongside former club great Malcolm Thomson, who also collected 10 titles back in the 1980s. Squash legend Jahingar Khan is also in the 10-title club. Admittedly, Jahangir did it at the British Open… but let’s not get too bogged down in the details.

A big congrats to all our champions, finalists and players who competed throughout the season. And a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 season happen — organisers, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and, of course, the players.

There’s still some spring squash to come and a couple of tournaments left in the season, so don’t hang the rackets up too quickly!

Final call for club champs entries. If you are playing winter league you are automatically entered. If you’re not playing league but you want to play club champs then you need to let Katrina know via text on 021 841 812 tonight (Saturday).
