🎨 RIVERHEAD COMMUNITY LEGO CLUB IS HEADING TO THE EXPO! 🧱✨
We are super excited to announce that the Riverhead Community LEGO Club will be taking part in the Community Arts, Crafts & Hobby Groups Expo!

Come along to check out our club display, chat with us, and get hands-on with some fun LEGO building right at the event! It’s a fantastic opportunity to see what our local creative groups are up to and make a day of it with the whole whānau.

⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Location: Country Club Huapai

🎟️ Admission: FREE • All Ages Welcome!
There will be interactive activities, live demonstrations, wool crafts, spinning, card making, digital photography exhibitions, and of course—LEGO! 🧱 plus the Country Club Huapai Cafe will be open if you fancy a bite or a coffee while you browse.

🧱 PLANNING YOUR SUNDAY? COME BUILD WITH US NEXT WEEK! 🥳✨

Looking for a fun, relaxed, and creative activity for the kids (and adults!) next Sunday? The Riverhead Community LEGO Club is back, and the bricks are ready for action!

Whether your kids want to tackle one of our themed sets or dive into thousands of free-build bricks, it’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

👨‍👧‍👦 FATHER’S DAY LEGO COMPETITION: DAD & ME! 🧱✨

Since we don't have a club session this weekend, we’re bringing the LEGO fun straight to your Facebook feed with a special Father's Day giveaway!

We want to see your best "Dad & Me" LEGO moments! Whether it's:

- A photo of Dad/Grandad/Father figure building together with the kids 📸

- A minifigure build that represents Dad doing his favorite hobby (fishing, drinking coffee, mowing the lawn!) ☕🎣

- A special LEGO creation built for Dad ❤️

🎉 ANOTHER GREAT SESSION & OVER 100 FOLLOWERS! 🥳🧱

What a fantastic Sunday! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to build with us today. It was awesome seeing so many incredible creations, and special shout-out to the adult builders who jumped in and got creative alongside the kids—LEGO truly is for all ages!

We also hit a huge milestone this week... we now have over 100 followers! 💯✨

Thank you all so much for spreading the word, sharing our posts, and supporting this local community space.

Calling all passionate young LEGO® builders across the Auckland region, we want to see your amazing creations!

Create and enter your very own amazing LEGO® build, based on this year’s theme "DANGER!", and enter the competition to win a LEGO® prize pack for you and your classroom!

However, that's not all... every finalist will also win a family pass and have the opportunity to feature their creations at the Auckland Brick Show 2026 🙌

🛋️ COMMUNITY CALL-OUT: HELP US COSY UP (AND QUIET DOWN!) OUR HALL 🧱✨

​Following our awesome first session, we're looking to make our space even better for our builders! We’d love to add some soft furnishings to the floor to give families a comfortable spot to sit while building, and to help absorb sound so our hall stays nice and sensory-friendly. 🤫🎧

​Since our storage space is limited, we're looking for items that are completely flat, rollable, or easy to stack away tightly.

​Ideal items would include:

​🧶 Play mats, foam tiles, or rollable rugs

​🟦 Carpet tiles (great for laying out in flexible spaces!)

​🛋️ Clean duvets, blankets, or soft throws (easy to fold and pack into storage)

​Criteria:

​🧼 Clean, stain-free, and in good condition

​📦 Easy to fold, stack, or roll up compactly

​⚡ Quick to lay out and pack up at the end of a session

​If you have any spare mats, carpet tiles, or blankets sitting in cupboards at home that you’d be happy to donate, please drop a picture in the comments or send us a quick message!

🎉 WHAT A FIRST SESSION! THANK YOU RIVERHEAD! 🥳🧱

Our very first Riverhead Community LEGO Club session was an absolute success!

The hall was buzzing with creativity, amazing builds, and fantastic energy from start to finish.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, and an extra special shout-out to all our super-sorters and families who pitched in with the pack-up—your teamwork made tidying up a breeze! 🧹✨
