A massive thank you to the amazing Aotea National Services Team for the unit and The Heatpump People for the installation.
These amazing businesses have donated us the gift of warmth with a brand spanking new Mitsubishi Heatpump and we could not be happier!!!!
This will make such a difference with the still chilly spring weather and next winter.
So thank you again from the staff, the Board and all the people who frequent Stitch-O-Mat, your donation will be very much appreciated by us all 😊

Did you know we have everything you need when you come in to do your sewing??
For only $5 you can use our machines, thread, scissors, fabric, patterns, advice and if by chance you forget your glasses can help with that too!!!!
Yes, we even have reading glasses to help thread those pesky needles, and beautifully bedazzled by 10yr old Violet, isn't she clever 🤗
We really do have it all at Stitch-O-Mat 🤓

Wednesday afternoons just won't be the same.

Hey wonderful people Herbie here. As Petie (Lily) wanted, we have a short and pragmatic funeral thing on TUESDAY the 01/09/26, 10am at 2 Kerrs Road Linwood Christchurch. Do not feel obliged or guilty if you don't come. Lily would be mad with you. 😘😘 I will organize, another day, a little 'Get Together' to celebrate, with bring plate, Lily's wonderful life and her creations.

The latest price we have heard for hemming elsewhere is astronomical, how does 2 pairs of pants at $130 sound!!!! That blows our minds 🤯
If you have 2 pairs of pants that are too long bring them to us so you can spend that extra $110 on something else. You're welcome 🤗

We are seeing a lot of very long pants these days which can in fact be a tripping hazard, yikes!!
For the sake of safety, if you've bought some new pants recently that are way too long and need shortening then come in and see us.

If you happen to have fabric or sewing supplies you no longer need, don't throw it out or put it in a clothing bin!! ....instead drop it in to us so someone else can use it for their crafting projects.
