Please bring gym/indoor shoes as well as boots as the trial will not be cancelled if fields are closed or if there is bad weather, it will just be moved into the gym 👍🏻

📍 Rolleston 2nd - 4th October
(Mainland SI Tournament)
📅 TRIALS: 2nd August @ 11am
👥 Team will be confirmed ASAP following trials

▪︎ 13th GRADE
📍Dunedin 6th - 8th October
(Southern Regional Tournament)
👥 There will be no trials. The team will be made up from the team that attended Alan Fraser Memorial tournament.
If anyone wants to be included they can get in contact with Tracey Fisher or the club for more info!

▪︎ 15th GRADE
👥 This grade is still developing their plan for future tournaments
Players & Families will be kept updated as decisions are made.

🔰 Girls Tournament Wrap-up 🔰

👏🏻 The last of our girls tournament teams is up!

🌸GIJFC U15 BLOSSOMS
COACH: Andrew Lloyd

The U15 GI Blossom had a great time at the AFM tournament in Kaiapoi.

The first 2 days saw the girls play against the top teams in the U15 grade, and although they didn’t manage to win a game, the girl’s equipped themselves well, fought hard and did some tenacious defending. The last day was tempered with disappointment when our expected playoff for 7/8th place (out of 9 teams) didn’t eventuate due to the opposing team defaulting.

I want to thank all the players for their effort. Hard when you’re not getting the results but great for player development and the bigger picture. Every player had moments of brilliance. I can’t fault the effort or attitude of the players throughout.

This extends to off the pitch as well, including engaging with parents and coaches, and supporting the younger teams! What a great group of role models!

Thanks so much to our 2 guest players, Scarlett Scoullar and Sophie Youens. We hope you enjoyed your time with us!
