Well I would be lying if I said fishing was easy today! Phew she was an exercise in patience for sure. The conditions were lovely, as was the company but the spiney dogs were not lovely. We decided we would try one last shot just out from Young Nicks and our patience was rewarded. Some lovely gurnard, kahawai and a couple of snapper finally decided to join the party. By the chatter on the radio it seems bottom fishing was tough out wide as well.
Thank you to todays crew for persisting with us.
We have a 7 hour jump aboard next Sunday, $200 per person, 9am to 4pm abd a School Hours Coastal on Thursday the 25th, $150 per person, 8am to 2pm. Next weeks forecast looks great so if your keen why not take your crew out, reward them for all of their hard work, why wait for xmas?

So nice to be out at sea again, it's been nearly 2 weeks. Great to get a full 10 hour Jump Aboard out today. Conditions weren't quite as nice as hoped before lunch and the fishing was okay. But after lunch the sun came out the sea settled and the fishing was on! So many nice snapper! Thank you to everyone who joined us today, your company was brilliant! We very much enjoyed our day!
Our next public trips are a 7 hour, $200 per person, Sunday the 21st, 9am to 4pm and a School Hours Coastal on Thursday the 25th, $150 per person, 9am to 2pm.

A great morning spent in the bay with a great family celebrating Huxley"s 10th Birthday! Fishing is still tough but we bagged a few nice snappers, a gurnard and caught lots of spiney dogs.

Well its been a tough few days fishing this week. All these small earthquakes around the country do not help the fishing ine little bit! Today's trip was certainly better than yesterday, due to the two earthquakes yesterday. Todays bite was slow but at least they were biting today.

Phew today's fishing was tough!!! Conditions were stunning, even with a big swell. The company was amazing! What started as a coastal trip ended up being an 8 hour day but conditions and the company were so good and the fishing was so not, that we had to go the extra mile to get what we could.
We started out 'fishing', then after several moves we progressed to 'catching', (be it scorpion fish) and after another move and plenty of persistence and patience we finally progressed to the 'keeping' stage of the day.
