We have many closures to make way for the Tairawhiti Schools Gymnastics Festival.

Monday 18th May 9am OPEN gym is cancelled due to practice
Monday 18th May 5.30pm TUMBLING is cancelled due to Set up
Monday 18th May 4.30pm Level 2 Silks and 5.30pm Performance Silks are cancelled due to Set up

ALL CLASSES TUESDAY 19th AND WEDNESDAY 20th ARE CANCELLED TO MAKE WAY FOR THE COMPETITION.

Thursday 21st May is normal operating gymnastics hours.

Is your child still practicing their gym festival routines and running out of time, book in now for our Sunday session, you can bring your child down, practice all apparatus and we will have a coach available to answer any quesions and assist where possible.

Introducing… drum roll please…

Coach Anneleen!

Here’s a few facts about our new coach.

Anneleen is from Belgium and was a competitive gymnasts for 10years competing all around Europe! After she retired from gymnastics she continued to coach and judge for a number of years following.

She is a passionate surfer and has travelled the world chasing those waves which bought her to Gizzy (not shocked our beaches are beautiful).
On dry land she loves climbing, biking, she’s a yoga instructor and a massage therapist.

Anneleen has a Masters in PE and exercise science, she’s a qualified life guard and keeps her first aid up to date.

We are lucky to her in the gym and if you see her about or she’s coaching your child please give her a smile and a friendly wave and welcome her to our club.
